Finally had time to get back into the RC world. Redid all of my electronics and got it running again and then built a rack for the bed of my Hilux.

Based off a 1:1 similar to this. I cant find the one I saw before. But there is more to come on it.

This is my first time fabricating anything like this and im pretty pleased with it.

my new rebuilt SCX10 tranny with Aluminum tranny case with new bearing, new Robison Racing Gears and a Axial metal drive gear, with steel hardened output/input shaft with thru hole, to run Wild Bore drive shafts, got a set of Mips drive shafts coming.

I order a new front bumper
For my scx10 I bought the tough armor winch bumper from RC4WD to match my RC4wd Cherokee bumper I have on the rear. In a few days I'll probably order a 4 link kit from a vendor and maybe some sliders

Removed the holmes 35t torque master for the stock 27t. Ordered a crawl master 13t for a little more speed.

Also shortened 3 servo extensions so I've got a foot and a half less wiring on my rig

I just bought my 6 year old son his first scale rig, an RTR SCX10 Rubicon, and I ordered from RPP Pro-Line Powerstroke scaler shocks, STRC front and rear aluminum shock towers, Integy aluminum knuckles and steering block and linkages, RC4WD front and rear bumpers with the rear bumper free of the rear tire carrier. I installed all those last night as well as the 1.9 Pit Bull Rock Beasts I had mounted on some Axial 8-hole bead lock wheels, and the Rubicon looks really good. If I get home a little early from work tomorrow I'll take my son out to some acreage we have on the other side of our property to get a run or two in.

Oh yeah, and a Hitec metal gear servo and aluminum steering horn that I picked up yesterday at the LHS. Oddly enough my Axial servo was making contact with the inside of the frame upon suspension compression, and the new servo seemed to clear up the problem.

Did a diy cms. not sure how well its gonna work as i currently dont have any axle shafts, knuckles, chubs, wheels, or tires lol. also did a little work on my inner fender wells. Drooled over some R2J Kustoms JK sliders and his Heavy Duty Winch Anchor which i will be ordering in a few weeks. Other than that i have stared at my rig hoping the things mentioned in the second sentence would just magically appear and i could go drive my truck, I think we all have done that at some point during a build lol.

Noticed one of my 1.9 swampers had torn a bead so I took them off and put a set of 1.9 flat irons on my 2.2 rc4wd wagon wheels, looks much better "thumbsup"

Some goodies came in the mail Friday. The wraith interior was a pain and will be better when I get a fresh body for another install. It was a learning experience but I know better now.
