What did you do to you SCX-10 today?

I really want to do a power wagon with a honcho flat bed. I love that look on an SCX10 with smaller 2.2s like non XL slingers. What sliders are those red beard? I like 'em.

Those are the R2J sliders...I mistakenly ordered the JK ones though so they don't quite fit properly. The Powerwagon is a neat little truck and the options are endless...I cut up the honcho beds and made something different. As far as the 2.2's I think that's a stretch for this truck...the BFGs are even a bit big.

Re-started putting the Nukizer body on with the custom bed. Canvas top is next.

I got the itch to change it up a little more unique for my flatbed...what I had was just too bulky and I didn't like the high "fenders" if you would.

So I started looking at the left over pieces of the honcho tubing I had and came up with this....all stock pieces of honcho stuff, just one piece cut for the rear uprights. Like this a lot more....seeing as I have an old washer and dryer sitting in my side yard, I am hacking the sheet metal off them and going to make a bed for this set up. Here are some pics.

Punctuation is your friend. Or at least it's OUR friend.

Well had old 55t integy motor that i had and replace it with the old hot traxxas 12t 550 can motor.I didn't realize why i didn't use it before crawls like a pig now and It's much more fun.I actually have drag brake now which is really cool and set at 100%. i never did have much drag brake with the 12t motor and i'm using the Axial AE2 esc.So Now when I'm descending down a hill it doesn't move which makes it more fun to drive and i enjoy it more and the advantage with the drag brake you can pick your lines with out rolling down the hill...
So i Took mine out to the beach yesterday just close to where we camp for the summer month.
Crawl heaven.....

It's interesting how much more narrow this is that the Powerwagon body.... Going to do up some different sliders to fit this.

installed new wheel and tyre 1.9 TSL SX + body lining (which I didn't do good at) + lowering the shock mount by adding an additional item by GPM so that i wont look like a (too much) jacked up jeep

installed GPM CMS with panhard while maximizing custom steering link (bought second hand)

did a custom inner wheel wells by using a left over ice cream container, front side use the 750ml container, back side the 300ml container cut in half.. I'll paint it with black flat when I have the time to do so..

Made a electronics/battery plate and there the ol for sale sign in the back window of the yota

For sale sign is a inside joke. I buy/sell/trade just about everything I get so it was fitting

Put the new Ford together on my kiddos rig seeing as it sees less abuse and will likely last longer there, until I absolutely tear apart my shell....I continue to underestimate how well the stock SCX10 performs with some small height and COG adjustments. This thing is great!

Me too...so I bought Deadbolt SCX-10 new body, RC4WD 1.9 white wagonwheel beadlocks, and Vaterra Super Swampers! Got Swampers mounted on wheels with CI DW foams for Pitbull Rockbeasts...looks great, need to test. "thumbsup"

I'm liking the rear cantilever shocks can you lead me in the right direction for how to do this Mod...."thumbsup"

Got around to making sliders for my kiddo's Ford body. I didn't want to deal with bolting and unbolting crap, so I just welded them to the frame. I was surprise at how narrow this body is compared to the stock Powerwagon shell. Guess he is sticking with the Ford width now...hopefully some other bodies will match the sliders when this body gets beyond trashed.
