What did you do to you SCX-10 today?

Did me up a bumper... It's now black, but easier to see in these pics

I stared at mine again,looking to see what need to be upgraded and the yellow is to well to yellow.I think weathering the body is in the works.I'll try water down,brown,tan,orange to see what happens in different stages of coarse...Also the interior is yellow have to change that to.....there to much yellow for my mellow yellow....:lmao:
 
made some axle tube inserts out of brass last night, ill take pics when i do the rears. Too easy, with a 1/8x2in piece. drill some holes and bam, some weight and a solid piece other then plastic to screw into
 
Would you mine sharing what light bucket you used on your headlights? Axial light buckets?
I made them my self I just took a pop can and cut a small piece off and rolled it up the same size as the light and cut a circle for the back of them and used aluminum foil duct tape to seal it and glued them in i made the turn signal and tail lights to

Rebuilt my new to me Icons I got off a buddy.

I use Axial shock bushings under the pistons to shorten them up a bit. From 90mm to a bit over 80mm. Keeps the ride height and flex pretty realistic.
 
Just installed Gear heads six shooter led bar on the front bumper nice !

Wheel center caps installed.
Driver screwed down in place and fingers shaped (Charlton Heston circa 1968 - planet of the apes for those with inquiring minds)
Head light buckets installed
LED kit wired and installed.
Winch wired (stupid thing won't bind to the remote...) work in progress I suppose.
