What are you working on??

So im down to just my phone. Laptop decided to loose everything after 13 months! Working on the ford, plus the 8' bed ford. Going to be my plow truck. So got a lot going on. Hope I don't need my castle link before I get a new putter

That sucks, my computer is running super slow and I'm waiting for it to carve as well.... I feel your pain!
My snowblower is broken so if you need something to do with your plow truck, I've got a driveway you can practice on......:lmao:

Finally mounted the cab on the trials truck and did a little snow testing which it seemed to pass even with 1.9's.

Got my toyzuki forward motor kit for the scx10. I'll have to make a few links to get it to work and it will still cost me a fortune by the time I get it installed but I'm excited and I'll post picks in the coming days. Snow better melt soon or I'll go broke modding my trucks!

I own an xmaxx. More of an impulse buy then anything. Went to buy a new Bomber, left with an xmaxx. I havent drove it yet working out the known issues.

What do you consider "known issues"?

I've spent some time on the Traxxas forum (might call it "grade school forum") and it appears most failures are caused by abuse IMO.

Just curious!

yea I hate going there to look stuff up. One of the known issues is the ESC. It has a built in delay to prevent breakage. I put a mm2/1717 system in mine. On the bench it seems night and day difference. Its 50Kv larger of a motor 1650 and the stock is 1600. But being a castle system it doesnt have the delay or the fire add on that some have had with the stock esc. I put some grease on the diff gears, mine didnt have enough to wipe off with a rag. Took the traxxas radio out and put in my specktrum. Most of it is simple stuff that should be done before you use any rtr.

a couple modification is required. The way traxxas designed the motor mount is pretty unique to the stock motor. But it doesnt take much to get it all together

Giving my VERY FIRST crawler some much needed love: new bearings, SSD tubes, homemade links, and some cheap chineez wheels from eBay.
