Okay rod ends aren't all that exiting I know but the VRD rod ends seem like they could be a nice step up/replacement for Revo rod ends that get used everywhere.
They aren't as cheap as the Revo rod ends unfortunately but they feel a lot tighter to me and they are supposed to be a stronger plastic so they should resist stretching out and pulling out more in theory. The dimensions seem to be identical to the Revo rod ends so they should be able to work with most aftermarket link kits.

I just picked up a bunch for future builds and my 2nd Buggy build which I'll be posting up soon.

I’ve been looking forward to trying the new “pro” rod ends myself. I primarily use the standard vp rod ends but they do stretch if you’re not careful. I don’t run in the cold much so a firmer plastic compound should be just the ticket

I agree, these new rod ends feel and look nice. I haven't had a chance to try mine out that came with my VRD Carbon, but from what I've heard these should do much better than the others.

I don't think that I've ever stretched the VP black rod ends myself, but I have seen many that have. I also try not to run my rigs below 40 degrees, so the harder plastic rod ends should work just fine.

I've seen a couple of them broken on one of the facebook groups but not sure how much of a beating they took prior to that. I've switched a lot of my rod ends out for RPM rod ends recently. They're a little bulkier than standard Traxxas rod ends but they're cheaper than the Vanquish Pros.

Options are good. Nice to know the VRD Carbon comes with good rod ends. I am excited to build that kit.

I'm not a big fan of the RPM rod ends because they tend to stretch.

I'd rather them stretch than shear like the rod ends Axial uses on the Pro, but if I notice them stretching I will switch back to Traxxas. I've never had a problem with the normal Revo rod ends but I have broken a couple Jato rod ends.

I don't have an Axial Pro, but that's interesting since their rod ends used to stretch like a teen's ear with a gauge.

Are these incision branded ones what you are referring to?

Yep. "Incision Pro M4 Rod Ends" per the VRD Carbon Kit listing.
