yeah i am planning to build some bridges and add some more rock . i am also looking at some other additions but they are still up in the air .That looks great. I have a very small pile started, need to work on it before snow time comes. I want to do the scale-ish touches like bridges and other structures, maybe rope bridge.
looking forward to these shafts coming a reality.
by the way, i'm thinking about putting together a course in my backyard. i have space and a lots of rocks. i just need to draw up how i want it to look. does anyone else have pics of a backyard crawler course?
yeah i have looked at those materials as well and future sets may be made out of those but my machinist can get this material for free ( well at least enough to make the first set ) and i will see how well they hold up to my driving . the new drawings are at the machinist , i have to get a die for the threads they are m4x0.7 and my machinist doesn't have that one but hopefully he can get started on the shafts soon "thumbsup"viper,,,the numbers on Stress Proof are decent however I think you should look at ETD150 and Fatigue Proof. The numbers are better for these two metals for Ultimate and Yield Tensile Strength and both are looking less brittle with Rockwell ratings down in the 30's.
