i say revo. And yes drill a hole in the pinion for the screw pin. If you have stock pinions, one of the pinions is impossible to drill through so you may have to get another of the "softer" one. The black ones are drillable. actually I don't know if this was changed with the twin force axles. I have the mad force kit axles and they had a harder pinion in either the front or rear... can't remember because that was like 3 years ago that I bought that.

no problem. yeah at 8mm, you don't really have to worry about weakening those things. and if you want spools, yotachump has stopped making them and is selling what he has left for $13 shipped each. Just a little tip "thumbsup"

I may have just scored huge. If any of you Ofna guys can confirm a measurement for me. The 1/8 Titan MT,9.5 MBX, Ultra GTP use these shafts. I would like the pin to pin length"thumbsup"

They measure 4.75/120.65mm total length.

Sorry about not noticing this Snoop. It looks like it would be a direct replacement. Savage's use the same internals as most 1/8 buggies just like the Force's. That predrilled pinion would make it a drop in for Revo shafts.

Whats the diameter on the actual driveshaft and stubshaft of those??

What material are the made from??

I would like new driveshafts but im running 12mm hex on my axels to fitt 2.2 rims

I'll have to get a dia for you. You want just shaft dia? They fit in place of the stock short sides. They are aluminum. I have them in the rear of my 11lb super and they are holding up just fine. 3S lipo and a 10T HH puller motor.

yes the shaft diameter and also the stubshaft diameter (are they 8mm like the original). So they hold up good then. Might try them out if i dont buy the reenforce ones from new era. the problem with new era is that they sell them long and short side in one bag and i have narrowed my axles so i use short side shaft all around

Yes they are a direct fit for the short side. 8mm stub just like any 1/8 buggy. The shafts are 4.5mm taper up to 5 at the knuckle.

No they wont fit,just tried they are too big dia.
But I found that the Team Magic will work and they are 43/13,just make sure they are shimmed right. I ripped everything tooth off the pinion and 4 teeth off the bevel gear on my first run with the mamba monster 2650 on 4 cells.. half throttle and you peg it,this thing will jump off the ground and backflip "thumbsup"

i was about to order these, but wondered if there are 14mm hubs for these things? of not, i would need to order some new rims. I have Maximizer beadlock rims that are for 14mm now.

That may be a trick. You could get it to work by using the grub screw center hole maybe. Just go 17mm and get away from those weak 14mm. The Axial 'oversized narrow' BL's are cheap and work great. Unless your using them on your 2.2.

These are aluminum, and there are some strength discrepancy's. I personally have been running them in my 12lb super in the rear with 3S and 10t HH Puller with no failures, and I have been known to leave rubber on the rocks"thumbsup"

My setup is axles shortened to shortside length on both sides. is there a better (AKA stronger) CVD out there?

Yes.

If you have two short sides you'll need the spacer on the one side and you can go with the CV's I have listed on a previous page of this thread.

This is a 2.2 rig? If so, these shafts (Ofna) I feel, will do just fine.

Kyosho lately switched to ball type universals for the MP9. The part# IFW421-01 is a perfect fit for the short side of the MF/TF axles. Also the part# IFW422-01 seems to mate well with the long side being 3mm shorter than the stock dogbone. I am installing a set in MF to bash and see what happens with these.

center diff lock for a cen 7.7. it will fit in the diff housing, no jb weld ever again in the diffs sorry, I don't have the part # but have a pic.
