TrailFinder 2 from Alaska!

Thanks for the replies!
2 points that aid my thoughts.
1 - with that tube style bumper it will appear too open on the front.
2 - if you stick with 4.19" or less tire then all that open space is just overkill.
I thought about that being too open up front...
It's just that I've seen rigs with smaller tires than mine run it with it chopped off but it looks great.

Both looks great to me to be honest... I think it's more of me getting tired of having the chrome bumper behind the tube bumper look. Lol.

If anything I should just get another body and run both [emoji106]
I've always been a big fan of the front bumper and lower valance, but I'm a scale nut who likes the factory look so I don't count
I do too! Don't get me wrong I love the factory look. It's just getting too stale for me. I like my rigs to constantly evolve...
I vote chop it off, I've always thought that the chrome bumper behind the tube bumper was strange. I cut mine off before it was ever mounted.
That's one reason I actually considered chopping it off. It looks good if you don't have a tube bumper but then I want some protection up front so I don't want to lose the tube bumper... Hmm... Decisions decisions...

Okay so I decided to chop it off. Pretty glad I did tho! Although it doesn't have that street legal factory look anymore... But that's okay. In scale (body is almost exactly 1:9) these tires are about 38" anyways and it fits this look better I think.

Any who, went on a trail run with the group again!

Temps were about 15° F and plastics were becoming really brittle but she survived!

Looks great cut! The second picture totally looks like Darth Vader is driving!

We had some nice weather out here in Anchorage and the group decided to go out again!

We were all surprised at how winter seems to have been cancelled this year for us. Usually we'd all be done RC'ing around October....but it's January and it's literally 35° F out and we have little to no snow up here.

Anyways, we went out to our favorite place again and got some pics of the TF2!

Surprisingly this time there were more TF2's than scx10's lol. Usually I'd be all alone [emoji20]...but not this time!

I had no carnages other than a scratched up body But then again, I try to drive mine as if I'm actually in it...
I did have some rolls and tumbles tho.

I've got a video coming up soon!

Hey AKBASH57, You have some great rigs there, and a great place to run them, Alaska is on my bucket list for a trip on my bike, My question is whats the name of the action figure girl driving your Rubicon? She will look in my TF2

She's a Lara Croft 7" action figure. And she would look great on a TF2! And Thanks man

And the video!

Had 4 jeeps and 3 Toyota's that day!

3 axials, 1 custom chassis, 1 gmade sawback, 2 tf2's, and 1 redcat Everest.

Crawl AK 7: Jeep VS. Toyota: http://youtu.be/dhbID7YjWi4

Despite the damp mossy rocks, The TF2's both kept up pretty well with everyone!

These 4.19 Baja claws keep impressing me each time I take it out!

Just got a chance to watch the video! The TF2'S were doing work! Not to mention looking better doing it!

It was 15°F and We've had the biggest turnout so far! A couple of us came out early and swept/prepped the trail for everyone. I'm glad everyone had a good time!!

New bumper came in! I've been wanting one of these for a while now but wasn't quite sure how people were mounting them. And for about $90mm a piece, I was a bit hesitant.

Well anyways I finally decided to order one and 5 days later...VOILA!

The bumper itself looks real good and mounting it was fairly easy. Here's how she looks!!
