Wow! Last post on 3/25!

She has been sitting and my brushless 2.2 tire F150 has been getting the love.

I burned two packs through her today, taking the dogs down to the pond for a quick easy run. No pictures though. i also pulled the rear hinge plates and shortened them up a bit, and mounted a shackle to the frame. I need to find my other one... Lol...

I took the Honcho on a 18 mile hike today.

Yes you heard that right, 9.2 miles in, and then back out in 9.5 hours. Unfortunately a raging creek halted my progress a quarter mile from the lake up there.

Saw all sorts of wild flowers, and butterflys, before it started raining, including white butterflys with orange wing tips???

On the trail I was really impressed with the performance the Rc4wd Goodyear Mtr's had. Previous rc4wd tire compounds suffered while wet, these do not. This trail is my baseline trail, I am very familiar with the first 3 miles of trail and there are some challenging obstacles, that get nearly impassable when wet. The Mtr's climbed everything I pointed them at. They are easily as good as proline's G8 compound both in wet and dry. They handled deep mud easily, wet moss covered rock, dry rock, sand and dry dirt. They didn't pack up like Rock beasts do and the small size didn't hamper the Honcho in any way. I did struggle to mount them on the pro10's a bit, but after mounted I didn't loose a bead, and they look great.

In other words...

I would not hesitate to recommend these tires to anyone interested in them.

Two 3200mah and 4 2200 3s batteries. I expected to use more, and carried 6 total 2200's plus two 1300's.

On the trail up I was getting about a mile per 1000 mah. On the way back down, I doubled that and was getting 2 miles per 1000mah.

Thats good to hear about those tires ive been very curious about them and the goodyear wranglers. But i am rocking these now so i guess ill have to try them first since they cost me 150 canadian lol i didnt like the rock beast so it was a toss up between the xors and the goodyears

Haha, my buddy runs two 5000mah 30 c's in his truck, and has run out of juice on the trail before... Then what? got to change bartteries, lol... I get about 2-3 hours of run time from my 3200's, and about 1.5-2 hours out of my 2200's. With the flip top lid, battery changes are easy, and I dont want the excess weight of a big battery.

I would put the Mtr's up against anything out there. As you can see the terrain I drive on is varied from wet, to dry, from loose to packed,from water polished rock to grippy granite.
I noticed the rock beasts packing up and not providing the traction I wanted on some climbs, where as the Tsl's, and Mtr's don't pack up.

I had to mod my battery tray a bit, and put one of those battery hold adapters into the front bumper mod but I can now fit my 10500mah battery in the truck. Im still on brushed but even after 2 hrs of hiking at a reasonable pace the battery barely hits 4.1/cell.

That is just to much battery for me, I like the light weight of the little 2200's...

I finally painted the fenders and got them mounted...

Wow Creeper that trail looked epic, just another big sky blessing. Glad to see your out trailing when you can and I hope your getting at it more now that the water has subsided a little. I run the 3s 2200 as well and some 1500 just to keep weight down, easy to take a sec to swap packs plus it gives you time to check things over.

Thanks, the little truck is a great little rig, and despite its tiny tires really capable..... there are only a couple things it cannot crawl my big bad brushless F150 can....

With this statement, those are the 4.19" OD / 1.9" ID MT/Rs? (I don't remember seeing you specifying anywhere.) I have a set of the 4.19" MT/Rs waiting for the right project. I tested them on my SCX10ii and was very impressed with their capability.
