Pebble Pounder
I didn't bother to post a build thread but figured I would share the end results with you folks. I had not seen many/any Brat builds where the bed fit all the way down to the framerails without being chopped and that was not running 1.9s (a bit large of a wheel for the body IMO) and after seeing the Camel brat I found my inspiration for this one.
Here's a general list of what went into this project:
*Gelande II roller, shortened the framerails and wheelbase to fit
*Rear cantilever suspension (a little inspiration from Dinky R/C)
*Tamiya 1982 Subaru Brat ABS Body
*Yota Classic Interior from Dinky R/C (fit with minimal trimming)
*Dinky R/C 4-spoke steering wheel
*Paint effects:
1.Rust and metal scrapes with the dry finger painting method
2.Sponged/bloted dry watered down paint for weathering (R|M|D's 3 stage weathering without the red paint)
*1.55 RC4WD black steel wheels
*RC4WD MT Baja MTZ scale tires
*scale Kansas 1982 license plate, revolver, pop cans, handmade firewood bundle and vinyl sleeping mat
*body post free
Let me know what you think. I'll update this thread if I change anything on it.
