What a long process that was two days of welding four one inch sections then letting the housing cool.
I might take you up on the tap still when I have to go make my links in a couple weeks. "thumbsup"
Question - Im a total noob at 1:1 stuff and never even checked it out before i got into the RC side of it. Why not quench it to cool it so you can work faster? Will it deform the housing or something?
Im amazed its so close to RC when you are at this level. No off the shelf stuff, cut and fab your own. 2x"thumbsup"
Hey I tried to pay for it. I think we may actually need both, Rob said his is a bottoming but wasn't sure how well it'd start. Guess we can find out, lord knows I got plenty of aluminum to try it on.WTF the one I bought isn't good enough for you?:mrgreen:
