Team Carnage Crew's KOH 2010 chassis build

Did you get the dyno time in? Figured you would have posted up the #'s by now, come on I'm tired of waiting:flipoff:

I will give some numbers. But first the reason he hasn't posted is because the t-case came apart last night on the first 100% throttle pull on the dyno. So as of right now I thing he is pulling an atlas from one of our friends buggys and putting it in his so they can get it to the dyno tonight for a few more pulls and some more fine tuning.

The last numbers I got as of last night was 316 hp and 320 torque At the wheels. witch should put it around 525-535 hp at the crank.

awe geeze  that's a 3.8 Atlas right? Great #'s though"thumbsup"

Well starting 52nd off the line this year, middle of the pack. I've started second to last row, than 17th and it worked out ok both times, I'm ok with the middle, after all we'll be ahead of most of them before the rocks anyway. "thumbsup"

I need to update the thread, gotten a few things done. Still no atlas, supposedly shipped Monday, course I was told I'd have it by Christmas. Cars been completely rewired with the new dash/switch panel which turned out bitchin. New wheels, got 'em powder coated already, rings will be painted to match the body, waiting on new tires to show also. Hood is in body work stage right now, if I can pull the painters arm enough maybe squirt it this weekend, lotsa little odds and ends been done, just need the atlas to get here. Still gotta get back to dyno and finish tune, thinking we can get it over 320hp at the wheel, put a few miles on it to make sure no heating issues than final prep before heading west. I'll take the camera to work and snap some pics of the wiring, I'm pretty happy how it turned out. When it goes back to the dyno I'll make sure to get a vid clip, it's pretty impressive to see a 39" tire rock crawler pullin that hard on the dyno. "thumbsup" Oh and loud. :ror: 1 more point of compression, a few more cubes and holy crap it sounds like it means business.

Gonna get any miles on it before it hits the lakebed, or will it be getting finished once we get there like last year?

We got you an awesome course all marked out...

That's the plan, no lakebed building this year. If the atlas truly did ship Monday I'll be back at the dyno by the weekend, just depends on what their schedule is. Than I wanna go hit your course, I wanna make sure with the new motor it's not gonna have heating issues and get a good gauge on fuel mileage. Few things to fix at Bastards shop than I think we'll be ready. I'm still feeling rushed and in a time crunch but nothing like last year.....thank god. It's all this waiting for shit that's driving me nuts.

Went with the guys for a little testing yesterday. There were some pretty good sized whoops through this section, anything from 1-2.5' deep and unevenly spaced. The new paint is badass, maybe Pickett will post a few pics of the panels...

There seemed to be no shortage of power with the stroked LS6.

Not a Timmy pic but snapped from my cell last night, er this morning, or something. Yea I'm tired. :ror:

Looks awesome Jason! "thumbsup"

Good luck out there, I won't be there this year. The bun in momas oven just isn't ready yet. :ror:

Looks like Jagged-X buggy Sparkles before it's red scheme... But I love it! "thumbsup"

Awesome to see those whoops getting owned by the Carnage Crew buggy"thumbsup" Cool spot for a shakedown. Go tear it up out on the hammers, in a good way;-)

Very cool sequence! What caused that? Did the suspension bottom out at the top of the jump and cause it to rebound weird??

Btw - what happened to the buggy after backdoor? I heard battery???
