Well took the 4444 car out today for some testing. HAd to loan out the sway bar to a friend who broke his at the xrra race but the car still worked good. I Took Tim Magee for a fun ride :mrgreen: Lest just say I almost found one of the limits Can you say uni cycle. :ror: Just a heads up no sway bar plus big jump sideways at 50mph is not the best plan.:shock: But it was fun all I remember is telling tim hold on hear we go ang thinking shit I am going to have to rebuild some shit this week. But all ended well and i was able to drive out of it"thumbsup" Sorry no pics we were having to much fun

Kitchen pass is signed for race day... PICK ME UP JASON!:flipoff::flipoff:

If you can't is there a solid piece of ground I can park the bike on?

you should be fine to park out there with the bike. If not we can just do the motocross trick and tie it to one of the trucks:ror:.

I only have about 3 inches of ground clearance so I just didn't want to be dragging the frame across the dirt and rocks!:ror:

I have one of those discs that you throw under the kickstand on soft ground too I can bring.

I know it's $5 for spectators, not sure if that counts when we're talking crew members though. Race starts at 10, not sure when the gate will open, I'd guess they'd open it by 9 if not sooner.

Last time I was there they were racing short coarse and it was five bucks.

Just got home, not what we were hoping for today. Fresh beefed up trans and I think the front pump broke after lap 1 of 15. Nothing like spending a bunch of money on something only to have it fail anyway. Was one hell of a lap though, started with I think 10 cars in front of us, 1 lap and only 4 left in front of us. I had my onboard camera on but it wasn't recording, Jason had a gopro mounted also so maybe he got something. Better to have issues now than at KOH in February though. We'll get it sorted out and be back for revenge. "thumbsup"

Man that rig loves to kill trannies!!

Is there any kind of warranty or anything?

Gotta get it out and see what happened, hopefully that's all that happened is the pump broke. Went from 2nd to 1st stabbed the gas, hit the rev limit shifted to 2nd and nada, coasted to the side. We're getting no fluid flow at all, not even through the cooler, gauge said 185 degrees so I"m sure it didn't cook any of the guts, ok I hope it didn't. Hopefully the tranny guy will help me out after spending so much to only get maybe 50 miles out of it. But DAMN the car is fast and stable as can be, gonna be down right a beast with more horsepower. "thumbsup"

it was a good lap that is for sure you guys were moving. You started 5th in the unlimited class and passed all the fastest cars there with in the first lap. Thought for sure you would be in the lead after the second. Oh well next time you will get them.

If you guys get the trans out and it has hit the self destruct button I think I know someone who can put it back together and it hold up or at least give it one hell of a shot.If we can help let us know ."thumbsup"

Jason just spent a ton on this one and it has mabe 30 miles on it. It is acting like the pump took a shit. Good heat in the trans 180-190 but none in the cooler. When last week it had the same in both so we think the pump went south and no line pressure now.

Piece of shit camera quit recording after like 2:30, but here is what I got.

the buggy looked amazing out there stupid tranny and camera, i played the video twice wishing it would just continue....ahh next time"thumbsup"

Well, the footage you got was good anyway.
I sooooo want to take my Bronco out there and do that. It looks like a blast.

Bummer about the tranny Jason. Seems like built trannies and finding someone to do it right is a tough road. It took John a few tries to get someone to build a tranny right in his red Bronco.

You gonna get the 4444 out to any of the other races this summer?
