Team Carnage Crew's KOH 2010 chassis build

The guys who own the playground are friends of ours and we went down to finish up one of the polaris rzrs we are doing for them and took the 4444 car along with us. We were having so much fun we didn't take one pic. But slowrockr will be out testing in a week or two and I plan on getting some pics and I hope some video too.

Thats all I can think of, I can't wait to get a ride in this one!!

Good work on it! "thumbsup"

I will tell you what Jason took Kris for a ride and you should have seen the smile on his face when they came back. All he could say to me was man you built a bad ass car.

About time to start updating this thread with the first to come off the frame table, Mr I scored a low mileage LS6 with Lingenfelter goodies inside. "thumbsup" You really are a Bastard, I never find a score like that. :flipoff:

These cars are flat amazing, from 70+ mph to rockcrawling the thing feels stable the whole time. Trans is still hurt from KOH, no 3rd gear, but messin around down in TX when you bounce off the rev limiter in 2nd gear high range your doing 82.8 mph on the GPS. "thumbsup":ror: Yes I was doing over 80 down a single lane dirt ranch road and looking towards the passenger side at the GPS, it's that stable I wasn't worried. Now the passenger....... :ror:

Gonna try to come out for the high speed testing, and maybe the race! When you leaving for test and tune?

I finally got the 300m tranny output shaft today, for the second time, ups lost the first one. Doyle brought the car back up to my shop today, trans comes out tomorrow and off to the tranny guy. He said he's busy but could have it back to me middle of the week. Gonna head to the rock race next Saturday to hang out and let everyone drool on the car than head to CORE on Sunday for some testing...... with more than 2 forward gears. "thumbsup" CORE race is on the 27th, not sure who all is going but may need a couple guys to help dump some fuel, not sure I can go 150 miles on 22 gallons.

I will call you tonight... I may be a gas dumper for ya!:flipoff:

If I can ride out to the race with you, I will help! "thumbsup"

LMK Jason

I was contemplating it. It'll just depend on what I have going on and if I could get some sponsor help to do it. I'm already in for KOH '11 but wouldn't turn down the seat time if I could make it happen. Sounds like they are settin up a damn cool race........again. :ror: "thumbsup"

If you do go, stop 10 feet from the finish until I pass you ;-) My ride last year is qualified, but I'm hoping to run my own rig this year. Should be a blast, but it's gonna be a really hot summer in JV practicing for the race. Anyone wanna help pit?

well Since i didn't go and hang out with all of the Colorado rc fags this weekend I got some more done on the race car. I got the front cross member fitted and weld in the chassis, along with the front upper shock mounts. That was only an eight hour job:roll:

Here is a few pics of some of the other stuff I have been doing over the past few weeks. The steering colum, shifter mount, steering brakes, and the gauges. There isn't much room in these cars so I have to try to package ever thing as tight as I can. the gauges look like you couldn't see them but they are not to bad plus the car will get two dummy lights on the dash for the oil and temp.
