Summit RC Rock Crawlers fort wayne, IN

As read in the dictionary:

Berg Envy: the understanding that greatness comes with 2 electric motors. Similar to penis envy but with inanimate objects consiting of 2 electric motors instead of one, being jealous of Ken, Ben, Brian, and Jesse!

LOL! Seth, you dont need a berg, you're damn good enough with your stock chassied axial as it is, No way in hell you need a berg, Chuck Norris is enough awesome on this planet. We don't need 2 awesome powers on this planet, it would cause some sort of a supernova or something.

The new additions Seth and I made to the Course are BIG, guaranteed to challenge all trucks.

So go ahead, bench race all you want....but beware....nothing is as it was.

Happy to hear you guys changed things up.... "thumbsup"

I was gonna buy a 1/18 MRC to compete with you guys in 2.2 to make it even playing field on the old coarse.......lmao.

Hope the weather works out for us on Sunday.

BTW...........almost have a second Berg laying around.... :flipoff:

Brian

Just to let y'all know, I'm working on getting a truckload of BIG rocks soon, I just gotta get a truck or trailer heavy duty enough to haul em, My buddy said we can use his Ford Super Duty so I'll get em up there as soon as I can. My little 1/2 ton would cry all the way to the Fort if i loaded him up!

I wondering if it would be worth our while to use the smaller rock we have to spruce up the hill and woods area. Some of the terrain is too gnarly to use in a practical sense. I little fill in here and there would make things versatile enough to create options. Just a thought, I can only imagine how crazy the yard is now.

Ben

Looks like Im gonna miss this one, actually maybe the next few.:-(I may get to stop by at some point and check out the action.

Hey guys, today was fun, everyone ran really good today. it was a blast.

And a special Thank You to Brian for showing all of us how it feels to get our asses handed to us! LOL!!

Great runs today Brian!!!

Oh, Brian. I worked on my rear links when I got home and was able to get the rear to act better, I had to shorten on e of my standoffs so the entire chassis would flex instead of just the last 3 inches of the chassis. Works a bit better now. I can actually see the rear squat a little when it needs to!

Had fun guys. I bought Bob colemans berg crawler so can't wait to see how it goes next time. I won't be able to attend the next one on the 7th (I will be in Jamaica:)) Definately be there for the rest!

Alright....consider this notice served.... I was very unhappy with the overall performance of my Berg.....OK maybe 2pts less unhappy than Seth:mrgreen:.....

There were some minor changes made from 1st to 2nd comp now it's time for a whole philosophy change. Preliminary test yielding favorable results. Next Comp I'm going to Bury Real Deel :lmao:

Seriously....everyone looks to be improving, even the kids. Even Ben pulled off a nice moo-ve or 2. Good to see the new guys and hope to see a few returning old faces soon.

Now that I've logged my 2 drops out of the way, lets Crawl

Great job Brian, those are super low scores you threw down! Hopefully us Michigan guys get time to come down to one of the next comps.

Ken- My next driving lesson at Summit will be on 6-7-08. Bring a pen and paper or better yet video it so you don't forget what I teach you...... :lmao::flipoff:

Hey does anybody know on Seths ax10 he had a regular servo for his dig instead of a mini servo. I thought he said he bought an adapter or something. Korie's wanting to do that to his edge chassis with his VF dig.

Big Servo, I think an extra Touring car Servo. Most of us found out the hard way little dig servos like to release the magic smoke :( The adapter was probably refering to the modified mounting location lower and behind the tranny rather than on top of it as the original ones were.
