Summit RC Rock Crawlers fort wayne, IN

hey where did all the guys go that showed up during the winter?

No kidding! We really need more guys to start showing up again, It just makes it that much more fun! I really enjoyed all the comps this winter and all the people.

I did some freshening up on the AX-10's today. Colt gets DIG (that's been sitting in a box for over a year) and my old Panthers, and I get new HB tires"thumbsup"

I also am trying some new spring setups and different weight on the rims. I know they will never be better than a MOA crawler:roll:

You guys dumping on your panthers..........lmao!

Put the right foams in the Panthers and stop wasting your money on the HB. Get rid of the memory foam in the Panthers and you will find no better tire......."thumbsup"

Geez, Y'all just wanna be like me!! LOL!:lol:

The Rover just flat work, I've done really well with them so far. I honestly think they give enough of an advantage to edge out the Panthers in alot of situations, They do however have some drawbacks but the advantages in my opinion far outweigh the drawbacks.

I smell a tire war brewing. Next Sunday already has a little drama in the air. This is going to be a great year.

Hey guys, you will have two more joining you for this summer. I've been in and out of the hobby for 15yrs. Gettin back into it again. I haven't decided whether to go shaft or MOA. Leaning towards the MOA. Any suggestions. . . were coming this sunday to check things out.

Sounds awesome! We have several Bergs mixed in with AX10s. Several AX10s are very competetive. The Bergs show some natural advantages. Come on out and we'll show you we're talking about. Either rig can be be competetive, it still comes down to practice and preparation.

CKRC has the Berg kit on sale for a killer price.....if you go that route.

Also RC4WD has there Bully complete crawler kit ready to ship. Looks VERY promising and with a price that no body can beat. If I were going MOA this would be the one for me.

Welcome, and hope to meet you soon...."thumbsup"

Ya I was looking at the bully axles and wondering why you never hear anybody running them? Looks like they have better steering knuckles(high steer) and possiby turning radius? Probably wouldn't have to run offset wheels like the bergs either but I don't know if there is an advantage to that or not? Would really like to give Losi 1/10 crawler a shot. . . any word when they are gonna release it b/c I'm wanting to get started!

The Bully is fairly new, it hit the market very late fall and had a few issues worked out over the early winter and now looks to be ready for comp.

As for the Losi....I've not been impressed with much Losi product. They seem geared toward RTR toy kits more than comp level equipment, giving the tendancy of most people to mod and tweak the trucks I'd start with either the Bully or Berg and build from there.

See Ya Sunday."thumbsup"

Ben, It was too narrow but I had the perfect shims and I think it will work well. Other mods in progress :)
