Summit RC Rock Crawlers fort wayne, IN

That's about right, I have had to get real narrow wheels to get the Berg to 10 1/4. It would be eaier to add a little to the bully, than to shave more off the Berg.

Well we just got 8 tons rock today :) Nice place to practice/test/tune. I've been looking at the dig kits. . . what seems to be the best setup for MOA. Two esc and electronic dig or one esc and using switches and servo? They don't make any chassis kits geared towards bully axles do they? I have been looking at the rockstar and kamikaze chassis.

The dig is preference and equipment dependent, 2 esc's require some fancy mixing and button reassignment to fully utilize. The switches are simple and work well....and cheap.

As for chassis any MOA chassis is fairly interchangeable. The only real difference between the shafty and MOA chassis is the size of the skid plate. MOA can get by with a much smaller area, but the shaffty needs room for the tranny and motor.

Stop out Sunday, you'll see some of everything.

You'll see a stock chassis Axial running good, a couple KK Bergs running good, a home made Berg run good, pimped Axials run good, and my MuMu Berg.... it depends on the day the drivers having:roll:.

Bring the popcorn, there is always something going down. Lots to look at, and enough different ideas and concepts to make your head hurt.

yeah, Seth can drive the hell outta that stock axial chassis rig!! My old DNA Axial was great but my berg is really staring to grow on me!

Just whatever you do, Don't listen to Ken!! LOL!! Nah, Everyone there is great and have always been SUPER helpful about everything. Even though i run a Berg, I still have a toolbox full of Axial parts just in case someone breaks and needs some spares! There are alot of experienced drivers there that know what they are talking about and they are always willing to share experiences and tips to help you out. Not to mention we will always encourage new drivers and help them on the course by suggesting lines and when to use dig and anything else we can do to help each other out.
I was completely new at this crawling scene this past winter and I have learned ALOT!!! BUT, I still got ALOT to learn!

Everyone is here to help you out!"thumbsup"

Just a thought, anyone have any extra crawlers set-up....bring it as a loaner, If Devon doesn't run I'll bring his along.
