8) Maybe, Maybe not. 8) LOL!! Yup, I got her finished last night, I just need to change my pinions around and overdrive the front a little to help with that stall issue! Never really knew what it was all about till I seen it for myself!! Maybe I'll have to get 2 ESC's to get rid of that problem! Its definitely something new too get used to, But all I can say is So far so good!! I also need to get more weight in the front end somehow!!

Heres a teaser pic! Look Ma! No rear shocks!!

Lookin good man. How much does the rear flex?

I made links to someday try locking the rear on my truck. Just to leave the actual articulation to the front end. I could even switch it around so only the front is solid too.

We all get so wrapped up in what works on 1:1 trucks. I know most of it translates, but in the end we're crawling with toy trucks. Perhaps something unconventional will turn out to be the cats ass. Sorry, I ponder life's mysteries out loud again.

MuMu will be on point this weekend.

The rear actually flexes really nice on its own, I like to think though that the front really does most of the articulation with the rear finally giving in when the shocks limit out. I'm working on dialing in my foam setup right now. I'm needing more weight in my front end right now! I dont want to add more weight to the rim unless its weights like the vanquish wheels where the weights are added in the holes! Maybe someone could make me some slugs to stick in there???;-) I've got a set of Mayhem 7's and supposedly .45 ACP bullets fit nicely in there. BUT.... Good luck finding any .45 cal lead anywhere right now!! With the whole Obama and firearms thing going on, everyone it STOCKPILING ammo everywhere!! You can hardly find reloading supplies anywhere!
I had a buddy of mine bring over a couple of .45 shells today and after ruining 1 bullet I gave up. Those babies are about a buck a shot and I dont want to waste a whole box of 50 just trying to take em apart!

I gotta figure something out. I took my battery off the rear axle and mounted it on the front upper links so that helped but I'm still looking for more front ballast.

Otherwise, I got that stall thing figured out. I switched to a 12/rear and 14/front pinions and the "clod stall" all but went away!! Easy enough.

Well, I got er dialed in!! I ditched the panthers in favor for my Rovers again, I just cant get the foams right on them panthers, The Rovers just hook up on things that the panthers struggle on. Who knows!:ror:

I'm ready for Sunday!! Hope everyone else is!!!

Hey Ben, I also got my wheel weight issue figured out too. I located some .50 cal Muzzleloading slugs. They have a plastic casing on them which the outer diameter is .50 cal but the inner bullet is .45! Worked perfect!!! and look badass to boot

I never thought about muzzle loading supplies. Those kind of bullets are called sabots.

Cool man, now you don't have any excuses...8)

Yup, They are sabots! You cant really tell what they are just by looking at them because of how I mounted them. They just look like copper plugs of some type.
But they work. Most expensive damed weights I've ever bought! $22.50 FOR 15 of them buggers!!

Come on guys, It was fun today but we needed at least 10 other there, We only had 6 guys show today!!!!!!! All is good though, Just wish there was a few more guys there.

I'm out this season. Sunday crawling dont work for me, got a new job as a youth pastor. Sorry.....

There must be a way to incorporate God's work and rock crawling. Until then man, we'll miss you.

Hopefully we can organize a Friday practice between a couple of us sometime. I need it for sure.
