Summit RC Rock Crawlers fort wayne, IN

I'm in providing I can get a ride to Ft. Wayne, My wife is leaving sunday morning for chicago to pick up a friend of ours, My truck is gonna be at the body shop getting ready for paint. Maybe I can borrow my friends Jeep. If we can car pool that would be great, I'll definitely chip in for fuel.

Not to impose on Brian  but I think he is in the Kendal-tucky area. You would not have to hitch a ride quite as far!!

I can fit 3-4 adults in my vehicle, However you do it, just get as far as Fort Wayne and we'll load it up.

They open doors at 10am, so we should meet at the track and leave no later than 8am.

Man does everyone call it Kendal-Tucky! LOL!!! Yup that should not be a problem, I should be able to make it to ft wayne on sunday. When the time gets closer, lets make sure we know exactly what time were meeting at.

It will be cool to put a face on some names. You all will have a good time.

I do not know if the Eye told you all or not, but the only rules at the Rox Box is that no matter what happens, I ALWAYS WIN!"thumbsup"

HA!!!! So..... It begins....

Just make sure you guys have plenty of Kleenex available for when Me, Ken, and Brian show Y'all whats up!!!!

You kids better be respectful. Try and make friends, OK?

All in good fun!! LOL!!!:-P

Glad to here you can make it Jesse. Lets plan on being at Summit around 7:45 and loaded and on the road no later than 8am. That should just put us there at door opening.

I can't wait to test all the changes to the rig, sprung instead of droop, different link geometry, ATA steering, hell there is a chance I may even have a Proto-type chassis by tomorrow, and perhaps yet another geometry change. Early testing is hopefull :)

MU MU Custom Creations has done it again. :flipoff:

New chassis to my specs (good or bad it's on me:shock: ), new upper links, super-duty servo arm, and ATA steering. Now if I only had time to test run before Sunday Morning:-(

Don't be scared, that chassis has been"trail rated." Just pull trigger. :flipoff:
Sooner or later you'll trust me on the materials.

Well, Maiden voyage of the MuMu Customs new berg chassis was a success. Jesse and I had a good comp day down at the Rox Box. I would highly recommend their facility. Brian was supposed to go but he got cold feet at the last minute and backed out:flipoff:. In all there were about 15 entries and a very well done rock pile.

Jesse took the lead with a near flawless first run while I had a couple of brain farts resulting in 2 gates:cry:. Going into the 3/4 courses it was Jesse, TwistedCreations, and Myself as the top 3. I had a great 3rd course and the others had a few hiccups. The 4th course was tough with TwistedCreations and myself as the only 2 to complete, him with a cleaner run moving him into the top spot followed by myself and Jesse, with a comfortable 40+ points back to the 4th spot the top 5 drivers ran the 5th course. 15 gates and 5 1/2 minutes, I think only 2 of us made it to gate 9 but it was a blast and a real test of crawler and driver.

End result Twisted creations in the top spot about 15 points ahead of me and Jesse another 20 or so points back and Biggin69 tied, another 50+points back, with another driver for 4th.

Still a few tweaks to make but heading in the right direction.
