Summit RC Rock Crawlers fort wayne, IN

Planning on heading down for the 28th "thumbsup", so expect another for the 1.9 class. Any chance on getting some pics of the new layout? Would be great if one of you locals could hook us up with some intel.

G.

hey midnight, U from Lagrange I see. I'm in Topeka! Not much at summit for the 1.9 class but i'm sure there will be one or two others. Most of the courses are designed for 2.2's But the Losi MRC's can still do most of the stuff.
I'll be there next saturday for the comp. Hope to see ya there!

HMMMMM, Comp Saturday  I seem to have recently found myself free of work obligations  I may see if I can find my crawler.

Had a great time today. Felt good to knock the cobwebs off the Berg.

Good to see a lot of new competitors and even more spectators, this summer comps should be packed and have some very heated competition.

Hey guys, I had a great time at the comp today! The course was definitely challenging enough for everyone!
Look forward to the next comp.

Also, If anyone happened to read what i wrote earlier about my tool box missing, PLEASE DISREGARD!!! I"M A DUMBASS!!

I love the hanging on by a tire picture. I think I Berg would have throttled out of that...8)

I plan to make the next comp. I am kicking around a "bodiless" design. I'm looking at other chassis designs and the rules reeeaaallll close and I think I may be able to do it. Stay tuned....

$179 for the set of axles Couldn't be beat.............Working on the rest of it as I type.............lol

Oh hell, there goes the neighborhood. I guess the big guns are getting bigger for this year. What's the State Champ going to do to answer back?

Bummed about Saturday

I wanted to be there so bad guys, but I was sick as a dog. I brought the bridge on Friday and I could barely see straight. I hope you guys liked the new layout. I won't be changing it until April, when I'm on Spring Break. Hopefully by then we can start hitting the rocks outside. I'm starting to work on my scaler. Hopefully we can get a handful of scalers out there this summer. If you guys are interested, I think one of the crawling comps should be at night. We could use glow sticks for the gates or just shove them into the tennis balls. LEDS for headlights. I'm counting down the days until the Losi crawler comes. Watch out Bergs.;-) -Jeff

I think he has a custom axle set drawn on cad that needs cnc'd, one motor per wheel 4 ESC and 2 recievers tethered together, no steering servo needed.

Oh yeah - it runs on NiMh 4-cell and foam tires :)
