Was experiencing a bit of bump-steer with the combo of servo horn (Boom Racing low profile) and servo (Turnigy MG959 v2 30kg) that I was using, so I decided to add a 1mm spacer to correct that.

Threads like this are making me wish I hadn't bought my SCX10 II and instead waited for this kit. It looks great.

Threads like this make me even more confused about my next purchase...

I go from scx10ii to TRX4 to BOM and even a tekno MT410...

Watched one of these run this weekend, it was pretty solid and the tires were surprisingly good for stock.

It did have some type of issue with the transmission flexing/deflecting giving it some grinding.

But all an all it ran nice, and look pretty good. Enjoy your project.

Steps 49-55: Electronics boxes, Sliders, Bumper, Body Posts

The BOM is really starting to come together now.

Non kit parts used in these steps:

1. FlySky FS-R6B Receiver
2. Hobbywing 1080 Esc (available on eBay)

Your phone must be like mine - just filled with tons of photos!

Which transmitter will you be using with that receiver?

My hacked Flysky GT3C. It does what it needs to do.

Yep, they're fine! I was just hoping you were going to say you got it to work with a GT5 because that's what I have and it doesn't like most FlySky receivers.

Steps 56-58: Wheels and Tires

This is going to be a short step... not much to see here, and I'm just putting these together for the sake of the stock build documentation.

You're going to need these...

43394444250_6ae49e72da_b.jpg

All mounted (little secret.. I haven't glued them yet)

45157323562_c0065e30ab_b.jpg

Now you'll need these.

43394443420_ed3891894a_b.jpg

Ok.. this part done. See told you it was a short step.

45157322932_f24f01685e_b.jpg

Please tell me you have no intention of actually using the stock glue on wheels which is why you didn't glue them.

Ok, good, thank you. "thumbsup"

I'll say again, the stock tires are very decent!

Step 59: Rear Cage

Here's one of the cooler parts of this truck. I really like this rear cage/hinge setup.

Here are the parts needed

This looks like a very nice alternative to all the scx10ii + Toyota Hilux cabs we see everywhere

Steps 60-65: Body & Completion

It's taken be quite a bit of time, and I'm finally done with the "stock" build. I won't be stopping here though. I wanted to build this truck completely stock first just to get that out of the way, but now it's time to start modding and running.
