So I have had a lot going on lately. Sorry for not trying to get some more outings planned.

Hopefully I'll make it down to magnolia bluff on Sunday. Maybe I can work it out to help out my friend down there in the morning. That will give me a good excuse to be gone all day

Other than tomorrow, lets plan for something the following weeks... the weather should start to cool off.

We are having another event. Hopefully the weather holds just long enough.

RCtoberFest @ Magnolia Bluff
Sun Oct 5th
Drivers meeting @ noon in the lower lot.
G6 style event using standard SORRCA VEHICLE rules package.
Scoring similar to G6 but using points. Time will have no factor. I will create a new thread for the event and post more details there.

Well everybody else leaked out on me for last Sunday. Kyle and I made it out to baxters hollow and then we went to hemlock draw for a couple hours. I really liked hemlock draw. More than baxters.

I want to set up a gtg for late October, possibly Saturday the 25th, at hemlock draw. I really think you guys would like this place.

Here's just a few pics

The trees didn't want kyle to leave, but his truck got the best of them.

Beware of killer turtles!

I can't make it the 25 for sure but I would like to get out again soon just need to get caught back up on bills and than I can go trailing again

Looks like some of us from the Fox Valley may be making a run to the Baraboo area on the 8th of Nov. Not sure it it's going to be Devils Lake, Pewitts or someplace else. Will post more info when we get it.

little birdie called scott metioned this to me yesturday. already passed the word out to the baraboo guys I know to keep the date cleared. can't wait.

seeing how ur driving that far... make a day of it. peewees and devils lake. maybe start at rock springs. not much there. a few nice hill climbs. do all the managable stuff in an hour

Mike convinced me to buy a scaler, it didn't take much.

I have ~$300 for a roller, what should I get? The scx10 seems popular, but the Gmade sawback looks better

I'd hang with Axial reliable and parts upgrades are plentiful. Many times I opt for the more exclusive rigs but couple years down the road parts and aftermarket quickly dries up leaving you with a truck you can't repair or upgrade. Axial it may seem less special at first but they are infinitely customizable.

I'm not saying Gmade's are bad though. I run many of their products with much success.
