south central wi 2014 crawling schedule

ok so i have been looking around a bit and think what we could do seeing as we have a few guys that come out on a regular basis we could use the gates we got with our axial trucks and the next few get together s we can just try and set up a small course to practice setting up gates. after a few time than we can try and maybe host a fun comp any input from any others? good idea or no?

It was very cool and we didn't get very far down stream was blocked by a down tree and we want up stream as far as we could drive I liked the water falls they were fun to climb up

I like the idea of a course. Baxters is a good place for that because you could do a couple at different degrees of difficulty for different truck classes.

I'm back! Only been able to check things on here a couple times this week briefly. I'm having some health problems lately and not sure what I'll be able to do in the coming weeks. But I can't wait to get back out.
I think you guys would like hemlock draw. Unless all the rain we had this spring wrecked havoc and a bunch of trees came down. I believe it will be a little bit more work though. Its a bit longer walk to get to the fun stuff, and you have to climb up or down the stream banks a couple times. Not bad though. Ya have to wait for me though! I'm hoping for about 2 weeks.

I would like to set another date for devils lake. I'm thinking 2nd or 3rd weekend in september. does anyone from up north camp in September? It would be cool to get another big group together again.

I've got a couple new ideas. I should be able to get some more info on a new place by next week. Assuming my doc can get me going again:x

i think it would be a totaly different type of trails, but i bet there could be some stuff in white mound park north of plain....

That is actually one of the places saved in my phone to remind me"thumbsup". Have not been there yet though.

But yes, it should be closer to you isn't it Brian?

I'm sorry, Brian is not here right now, if you leave your name and number he will get back to you as soon as possible.

:lmao::mrgreen: It's been a long week.:mrgreen::lmao:

Hemlock Draw is just a bit west of Baxter Hollow I believe. It's another nature preserve.

Yes, just outside of Leland. Which is 15 mins west of sauk. Which has about 2 bars and nothing else. If you want to buy a sandwich and a gun in the same bar, that's the place for you! Actually I haven't been a here in 15 years, don't know if the guns are actually for sale.:shock:

I'm gonna be busy tomorrow, doing more brush clearing & cutting firewood at a friend's farm, but did uncover a nice little creek bed to play in :mrgreen: Also the whole month of August is pretty crazy for me, not sure how much I'll be able to get out.
