south central wi 2014 crawling schedule

It doesn't sound like people are going to be around this weekend. Who still wants to get out and do something?
We also should set up some more dates. I think we should go back to devils lake sometime in the next month or so and look for more obstacles. I was thinking starting at the last parking lot at the north shore, past the east bluff trail and bathrooms. There are trails that lead along the base of the bluff going south. And then there is always the south shore to be explored.

Has anyone been to mirror lake to check it out? There has to be some parks around the dells area that would have some nice area

I am ready and willing this weekend. Had a busy week so need the distraction. Are we meeting at the place we discussed? You gave directions I believe.

I just got work for this weekend. I need it too, so I will not be able to get out. Sorry guys

Let's do something next weekend, probably Sunday because I think kyle would be working Saturday and we should see if we can get him out again.

Also let's plan something for devils lake sometime. We don't have to go straight to the east bluff.

Its been awful quiet in here, let's get some ideas going!

I am planning on takeoff the wife and kids to mirror lake this weekend to go for a walk and I will look around and see if there is anything worth going on there

I'm still going, there or somewhere. Is anyone else interested in an outing this weekend?

I am going on Sunday. Not sure where. IM or text me if anyone else is thinking of going and we can meet up.

Me and crt02 went to Ferry Bluff this morning, about 6mi SW of Sauk City. Nice lookout point over the Wisconsin River. Also found a tough, narrow trail going up one of the ridges with rocks, sand, and tree roots. Mosquitos are nasty, otherwise pretty good place.

Not really, we were there about 2 1/2 hours, there might be more to crawl if the river was lower. There is another trail we didn't take, but I don't know where it goes or what it has.

I had a good time. The place is definitely on my list. For one thing there was not a million people walking by every two minutes. It is a great place for a small group to kill a couple hours crawling and just a cool place to go watch the river go by...

i may be able to sunday....it ould be my sons 1st trip....he has a new scaler...

it would need to be close to madison though

I am available Sunday as well. We can try Magnolia Park in Evansville maybe.?,? From the pictures I have seen it looks pretty small but we could always just set up a course. Make it challenging, everyone runs the same course and we could even play around with keeping score :) if your into that sort of thing... (and I am)

I think Evansville is a hike for some of the regulars but it may be nice in case anyone from further south shows wants to show up.?.? It is just as far for me as Devils Lake or Pewits so I don't mind either way.

Thanks
