The colours of the RC and my 1:1 XJ are more similar in the flesh than in the pictures. If I have a complaint, it's that I should have blacked the window frames. The front wheels are actually in the right place although it doesn't look it. The rears are too far back (98mm links). I'll be making my own links out of 3mm thread and ally tubes. Just waiting for payday to get a Spektrum DX6i (getting one of these because I plan to get a truck and maybe a tank and would like the extra channels)

Not quite sure where to place electronics right now though.

Another scx10

This is my 2nd Honcho (1st was a kit which i built then sold, then missed too much). I liked the stock esc that the new ones come with, so I picked one up a couple weeks ago. Only thing done so far is putting the led's on their own power supply (1600 nimh receiver pack), h2o proofed the esc, hard wired the esc to the motor and a different body (hadn't seen a trail escalade yet), so heres a pic of my fun today on a trail course @ RC Excitement in Fitchburg, Ma. Picked up an aluminum link setup while I was there, so it's time to go clean off today's fun and put in some stiffer links!
