Sacramento Scaler GTG/Comps

WHAT UP DANNY? COOL TO SEE YOU GETTING BACK OUT"thumbsup"

Whats up E, just resurrecting myself from the dead lol. Yea man, gonna be making some rigs up pretty soon, I have Martins Ftoy right now, that I may get off him so this weekend will be good to get it out and see what she does for me

I seen you cruising through Folsom a few weeks ago, noticed your white truck with the GSRCC hitch cover, looks sweet.

YAH SOLD THE BIG BEAST DOWN SIZED. HEY THE IS A BIG SCALE EVENT AT FOLSOM ON THE 25TH YOU AND YOUR BOY SHOULD COME ON OUT"thumbsup"

What kinds of rigs are run in the sac area? I am in the rocklin area. I want to run a MOA. So I need to get one. I dont have anything yet other than a wraith (was setting up for bashing but it made me want to try crawling). One of the Guys at the shop here menioned that most all people run custom chassis which I understand. But I dont know where to start with the axles.

From the research I did the primary ones were the berg or the xr10. Based on what I have seen, I almost feel like I could just build one. For now I just want to do it for fun while I get to know the hobby. But eventually I want to compete and have a better rig. So I would like to try to start with a good base.

Is there anywhere locally I can pick the stuff up other than craigslist? I am hoping to be able to start in a month or so.

Guys so the plan for this weekend January 18, 2014 we will have a get together at Folsom Lake the plan is crawl anywhere at the Granite Bay point (Douglas Entrance). There's so much to drive on that we gotta take advantage of this. I would love to see the same get together we used to have couple of year ago every weekend with a big show out. Please feel free to PM me if you want to set up a meeting area as I don't know where we will be at exactly. :)

Bring the family, bring the scalers, bring the bashers, boats, and even flying rcs :)
