ROLL CALL FOR THE OLD HEADS

Been here since Oct 2010 IIRC Still in the hobby though it takes the back seat to hunting fishing and motorcycles lately...I got out to crawl half a dozen times last year and plan on 2x that this year...

Inspired by Guido... if any of you remember that build...

I’ve been on the site for a while on a different account, I forgot the details and no one was answering emails. I’ve taken a few breaks here and there and am quite surprised at how slow it is, it’s too bad.
What was your username before?

13 years and 75+ build threads. Yikes. And I lurked here for years before creating an account.

Of course, only 1/2 still have pics since I started with PB. Wonder how that site is doing? Hope the "Well, it was free now it's $399/year" worked out for them. Don't bother with the e-mails about saving your pics - you have to pay before you can even get to them....Steaming pile of corn-laden crap.

I have a 1989 Harley FXRS-SP Low Rider Sport Edition. The best handling big twin Harley ever made.
I had to look that one up. Good looking bike. Probably much lighter than my 2020 Fat Bob 114. But have you had a long ride on an M8 cruiser to give a real world comparison?

March 2010 says the forum, so coming up on 15 years. I've lurked here for at least 2 years before creating an account. I've been off-and-on between here, Tamiya Club, Ultimate RC (when it was around), and RC Groups depending on the season of RC that I and/or my kids are into.

I've had a few useless build threads, mostly telling people they are an idiot in the nicest way possible.

I sorta inherited a Kyosho USA1 and ignorantly wanted it to be a crawler, which was just a terrible idea all around. And that's how I found this place. 20 years ago.

In hindsight, wish I tucked that USA1 into a box instead of hacking it to pieces.

My head is old.
My back is old.

I dont remember the whole series of events with photobucket, but IIRC it was unlimited images at first, then they only allowed you to have a small number of photos hosted for free. During that time I ended up making a couple extra accounts and redoing some threads with the new links. When they decided to start charging for the service, I deleted my accounts. Some images were lost for good since I had forgotten passwords and whatnot. That did kill a lot of my forum usage for a while.

Been around since 2012. Haven't been on much in a while. My RC crawling buddy died a few years back and haven't touched a crawler again until now. Starting to make a course in my carport.

I used PB for a while and stopped completely when they pulled their stunt. Using imgur now.
