Hey every body! I am in the process of clearing a spot to make a rock garden. I want it to have a little water feature like a small waterfall and maybe a stream going into a shallow basin. I need some ideas about what to make the water course with. I want it to blend in with the rocks as much as possible. The rocks I am using will be granite, the type used in ditches and such. I will also be getting some larger boulders. Anyone have any thoughts or ideas? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Concrete. It would be a nice rough texture and give grip. Or dirt and liner.
Ripper7racing made a real nice track! Check google for it!

concrete over a wood/wire frame. Dye the concrete with a main color then use other colors (reds and black) on it before it dries so it looks like minerals leaching out. I like to mist it with water right after I lay the crete when its around a pond or water feature...kind of smooths everything out and gives it a worn in look.

What specific concrete mix do I use? The ready-mix type or the kind without rocks? How do you keep the concrete from seeping through the wire? Sorry for all the dumb questions, I'm not used to working with concrete. Thanks for the replies!

Edit: I will probably use the dirt/liner method for the stream and basin. I want to start the feature at a higher elevation so there will be a waterfall. The concrete form will make this part.
