Kamikaze...

Did you narrow your Thorns? I just got mine tonight. They are really beefy compared to the proline's I'm used to running. I don't think my method will work on these:?. I love the track width"thumbsup"

Yeah I narrowed them almost an inch, if you want to run under knuckle packs with the jp knuckles then get a .5" per side widner and narrow the outside of the rim instead of the inside, then your width won't change but you will have the room for the batteries.

I got my BM16's from The Crawler Store.......lets just say I had to swap in my aluminum cases and steel gears that I was saving for my new truck.........the BM16 is crazy. I have no noticable cogging, they never go into reverse when under load, the drag brake is almost to strong, and the wheel speed is awsome, even with the 6 tooths. Its one bad hoss of a motor. I'll get some pics up when I get home from work.

The BM16 is way better in my opinion. It had almost no coging what so ever, and way more wheelspeed and power. I got some pics, hold up.

Here they are. I also had to make a few changes to deal with the power, my aluminum tubes are comming.

What grease are you using on those gears? I bought some Grease spray thats silcn. Based, but doesn't seem thick enough. I can barely see it. I went ahead and used White lith. instead.

I am using vasaline, it seemes to work pretty good, the gears are really quiet.
Also I just realized that my startup power is set at low........

Mobil 1 grease???

Good to hear you like the BC16

the CM is a 850kV 120g while the BM16 is 1005kV and 155g so that makes sense!!
