I haven't had anyone looking for directions but it's under the Dan Russel Arena on Stafford St. Go to the bottom, turn right into the dirt lot. Park and go through the gate and we'll be hiding in the trees to the right Parking to the check in is less than 50 yards.

It is 3:42 am and I have been trying to solder my esc to my motor and can't get the solder to stick to the motor tabs. I don't think I've ever been so frustrated, pissed, and ready to break something. If anybody is up and has ideas please help. I don't want to miss this!

It is 3:42 am and I have been trying to solder my esc to my motor and can't get the solder to stick to the motor tabs. I don't think I've ever been so frustrated, pissed, and ready to break something. If anybody is up and has ideas please help. I don't want to miss this!

Heat up the solder on the tab and clean it off. Cut the wire and re tint it. Heat a small drop onto your clean tab. Now heat the wire and tab solder and join.

Solder doesn't work right if it never cools enough, gets dirty......sometimes need a clean slate.

omg:shock: all i can say is holy my poor scaler! That was the craziest crap my scaler has ever done.Just finshing today was a great feeling(also the rig holding up) thanks Martin and Matt had a great time. Never seen so many broken rigs:shock:

Had a lot of fun today! Great challenge and some real difficult obstacles. Too bad my servo winch gave out, kinda ended the day. but none the less had fun. Thanks Martin and Matt"thumbsup". Looking forward to the next overland!

This was so crazy. So much fun though. Was one of few that finished and I had stock tlt axles and plus a third of the way in my teamates truck broke and he was out of it. Can't wait till the next challenge

if you mean Mike from Gold Country Hobbies, he is the man when it comes to rc and will always share his knowledge. his servo winch is the best and works with no "drift", i have 2 i built with parts from him.

i just came out to watch today and i knew i missed something grand after seeing what Matt and Martin laid out. everyone i talked to had a good time and i heard a few horror stories but all in all a fun time. i hope i can make the next one
