This is how I feel about the dealer sticker they put on cars, or the license plate frame with the dealer's name on it. I always pull that crap off of my vehicles, I see no reason to give a car dealer free advertising.

It's nice to see that's how others think of brands. I've felt that way about branded T-shirts for a long time. In high school, I HAD to have a surf branded T-shirt on.

Then I realized the pros get PAID to wear those, while I was paying to wear them. Now blank white T-shirts are all I wear.

I actually just put a deposit down on a new truck and I've already told my sales guy that I will appreciate them NOT putting any dealer branding on it unless they want to offer a discount on the truck as payment for free advertising..

Agreed....First thing I do when I get home from the dealer is get the screwdriver out to get rid of the frame and the heat gun to loosen up the adhesive on any stickers. Don't like the look or the free advertisement.

Bought a Tacoma some years ago and while I was standing there after the sale shootin' the shit with the sales guy, I started de-badging it. One by one... peeling off each letter of the DeMontrond Toyota sticker. I'll never forget the look on his face like he'd never seen such a thing. I don't remember what I told him exactly but he was visibly confused or saddened lol. The dealer logo along with the license plate frames are always the first things that I chuck.

My rant, I've been mattress shopping lately as my old bed is giving me problems since I have back and shoulder issues anyway. Why in the ever loving hell does a decent mattress and box spring/platform cost as much as a used car? This shit is ridiculous.

The Seattle and Portland governments as a whole should be tried for criminal negligence. Those turds kowtowed to Antifa and BLM because they thought they'd get more votes. Trump is out, and Antifa is still rioting against nothing. You couple this with their stance on drug use and crime, and you have a perfect shit show going on. The REALLY crazy thing is when you evoke policy that makes thing significantly worse, you should reverse that policy, but those turds double down on it, then raise taxes to try to fix the bad policy.

I have relatives that live near Portland, and they are all getting out. My wife's cousin is looking at abandoning their house they have lived in for over 20 years because real estate agents are telling them there are no buyers because of all of the crime, riots and homeless.

Well, since the "shirt" part of that comment pertains to me, I'll respond.

Nothing in my post had anything to do with anyone else's clothing choices. I only referred to what I choose to wear and why. I don't care what shirt you wear. But I do care about what shirts I wear. That was my point.

I could give two ding-dongs and a hoho what badging other people put on their vehicles, RC or 1:1... Their rigs, they paid for them, if it puts a smile on their face, its all good.

For me, I don't want any of that crap on my 1:1. I have my veteran's vanity plates and an American flag, that's good for me. Also, I look at vehicles as transitory things, something that I will want to get money for when I buy another one, and the more shit they have to scrape off, the less they are going to pay me for it.

As far as RCs go, I go with minimal stickers, I like a cleaner look. But, I do like to have stickers for the parts that I am actually using on the rig.
