It came on a roller I picked up awhile back, and it already had a servo horn on it when I was looking for one to throw on here........

Finally got my Sammy on the road. Been driving it for about 2 weeks now everyday to work. This project has had it's share of ups and downs. I started this as a EFI engine swap but encountered to many headaches. Therefore I just installed a toy carb on the g13b.

Still needs some SPOA and OTT steering conversions.

I downloaded a app on my android that shows trip and speed since I knew my speedometer was going to be off. It also records max speed and keeps record of it. Come to find out I was cruising in to Newberry one morning this week at one point doing 68mph on these 31 10.5's. Needless to say I have been pretty impressed with it so far. Fuel economy has been around 22-24mpg.

SWEET...stoked that you got it on the road! The toy carb works out really well doesn't it?

I never drove mine on anything but stock size tires, but it would do 70+ all day long without a problem. I think most people that drive these and bitch about not being able to go fast enough are just scared to push them. It's a 4 cylinder...DRIVE IT!!!

Thanks! Yeah the carb works great. You are right on just drive it!! lol

Another small project I've been working on the last few days after it showed up here last Friday...8)

So when are you going to paint it? It is but ugly! You should paint it blue I don't think you own anything with a blue body! LOL

The boat bug bit me so I got this. I took it out yesterday to play around it was fun but it was short lived in the matter of a few minutes I think I fried the receiver. Doesn't matter as I was planning on stripping all the electronics out as they are garbage. But now I need to fox a big leak in the hull.
