Post your 1:1 Rock Crawler

I'm not sure how I missed this thread. I posted some pics in the favorite off road rides, but this thread fits a little better. Here's a quick rundown of what I'm running:

1988.5 Samurai w/ stock motor (carbed), tranny
Tcase with 6.5:1 gears
'85 Toy front axle w/ Longfield 30's, cyrod 5.38's in a high pinion 3rd and ARB, trunion bearing eliminator, high steer, hydraulic assist, ARP studs throughout, IFS hubs
'91 Toy rear axle with stock shafts, '98 4Runner ELocker, cryod 5.38's, disc brake conversion
YJ leaf springs at all four corners
100" WB
full cage
37" SSR's on 15x8 2.5BS black steelies
home made twin stick using two stock tcase shifters
Warn x8000i winch with custom splice synthetic line

It's maiden voyage this past May was to Colorado and Utah. We ran Billings Canyon first then went to the Rusty Nail the next day and spent some time at Area BFE where we ran Helldorado.

the front axle was built with a dana 30 beside it for referance, I dont have a shop so it was built it my moms garage to "bolt in" and it did just that, I had both the toyota axles in myself, over a weekend.

Good job on the yota axle Fred!

In the pictures from out west I was running right at 10lbs. I'd driven it from my buddies house in Grand Junction to the trailhead and forgot to let some more out. It WAS too stiff. Now I usually run them around 8. I don't have beadlocks on these and won't since they are the reverse offset wheel which means the center of the wheel is shaped different and won't allow me to run the weld on locks with the lock ring on the outside. I'll wait until I can find a little better setup for tires and wheels.

Nothing major, but a new bumper added. Got a new prototype lift to try for awhile, then hope to straight axle. Got the axle, but need to do some measurements for links and figure steering.

You can see the bumper, radiator skid and oil skid I helped design and fab.
