Random stuff started flowing in to the garage. A few items from Scale Metal Supplies for a couple of new builds.

New NSDRC budget servos and a @twade984 suggested budget servo to try out in one of my unfinished trail truck builds. One of the NSDRC budget servos will be heading to my newest Phoenix build.

And a brass kit for my TRX4m High Trail.

I'm jealous of the VRD kits! I just wish they were straight axle. Although the only Vanquish portals I have experience with are the aluminum on the Ultra.

Kyosho just released a new Mini-Z MR-03 RTR, having the Mazda 787B body, as well as just the body. Although I haven't confirmed it yet (ie. haven't opened the box, to compare it against my other MR-03 cars), Kyosho claims it has some slightly different parts, including a newly-designed ESC, with another acceleration & steering. Picked up the RTR, as well as the separate body.

Awesome body! I remember seeing this one at a LHS years ago. Too bad it doesn't sound like the real thing! Goosebumps!

That CJ body is awesome! EDIT: I looked it up and saw it's a YJ. Less exciting for me, but still cool. Please start a thread and show the chassis off.

For the HPI Baja 5B, the Sidewinder SX5 Sand Rail kit, from Kraken RC. Although designed for the Baja 5B, it also fits Kraken's own VESLA.5 2WD. Note that this is NOT a 'vehicle', but is just the sand rail cage & body...and, to show just how huge the box is (remember, this is a kit), yes, that's my bed.

So awesome! I had no idea they're still making parts for the Baja since HPI has come and gone a few times...

I wasn’t going to… but I got suckered into a ToF. Pretty good haul if I do say so myself. Gary fordyce with limited blue diff cover hd44’s and limited blue bully wheels.

I also picked up this 10.2 tube c10 rig, not sure it will be staying around though.

Also grabbed trepadors and squid inserts for the purple buggy. It’s getting a dlux od3 trans and some dlux driveshafts now.

Did you post in the Vanquish VS4-10 group on Facebook? If so I was the one that said they gave a lot of blue away and asked the color of your diff covers.

That purple people eater looks great too!

I bought these Choost wheels since Vanquish discontinued the Roost. These are not for the Pro kit that’s on the way… Dun, dun, dun!

Two points on the vrd, f10 portals are much improved over the f9’s IMO. I’m typically a straight axle person myself, but the f10’s are hard to argue against, particularly in a flat rail style rig.

Also, f10 straights are a direct swap into the vrd, and f10 portals usually bring around $200 (probably $220+ with the cast weights) on the vp buy/sell/trade page. Straight axles usually go for $160-$180. If a guy wanted to, I bet you could get a straight trade portals for straights the day you posted it.

Also, while I’m typically not a fan of knockoff stuff, that’s the only reasonable way to get roosts, and being discontinued you’re not really cutting into vp’s sales I guess. The set I had were very nice considering how cheap they are to buy.

Which one of the bambu p1 series did you get?

I got a p1s with ams about 5 months ago and it’s been a work horse basically the entire time

It's the P1S with AMS.

I am loving this thing. It's my first printer. While i have so far only printed other people's designs, it's great how Bambu Studio makes it easy to modify them.

Mine had also been running quite a lot. So far no issues

Modified full depth bed for a bobbed Axial C-10 body hot off of the bed

For those of you only into crawlers, you probably won't know anything about what I'm going to say next...but, for any of you who are also into speedrunning, you probably know. A few years ago, a company called Smart-Workshop released a revolutionary product - a smart tire truer. The Smart Tire Truer might have been discontinued, but the company continues, releasing more products. As I say, for those of you who are into speedrun cars, you'll understand the significance of the rear of this.

SkyRC just released a revolutionary product of its own - a smart tire balancer. No more using a hand-held 'spinner' to try and figure out where weight might need to be added. No more using a tire balancing stand to determine 'where' the weight needs to be placed, or attempting to figure out "how much" weight to add.

The SkyRC Tire Balancer not only determines exactly 'where' weight needs to be added, but also determines "exactly how much weight" needs to be added. Perfectly-balanced wheels/tires for speedruns, whether your running 1:10 scale, or 1:7/1:8 scale.

Rider gear showed up today.
Proud to announce Danny "Magoo" Chandler is back riding the Maico MEGA2 Promoto 490MX for the coming racing season which for me starts Sunday as I missed the first race in November.

New shocks for the Smt10 mega truck.

You will love those shocks! I have them on my SMT10. Great looking truck.

Is that a custom Losi Promoto-MX? If so, who did the decals?

I had one of these preordered, but after Losi totally botched the release I got annoyed. Then I watched a bunch of running video and saw that it looks like it handles just as terribly as any other RC motorcycle so I cancelled mine.

Well my scx6 hasn't come off backorder yet but the tires finally did and I got them yesterday. These monster TSLs are freaking awesome!!!! Now we just need proline to make the bogger for the scx6!

My Pro is in my neighbor’s house. He gets my packages when I stay at my girlfriend’s house. But this came today. [emoji87]

Don’t mind the kitchen shots. I was in dress clothing for my work Christmas party and rushing out the door, but I had to open this.

He's here to chew bubble gum and kick ass, and he's all out of bubblegum.

As seen on the Crawler Canyon, the Omnifixo M4 solder helper third hand has arrived. A very cool, simple, genius device that holds wires, plugs, etc. to make soldering a much easier job.

Each of the 4 holders is magnetic and has a ball end that lets each swivel in all directions.
