Pics of your latest purchase

@59sled- Really glad to hear your boy made it out with only minor injuries. From the look of that wreckage, things could've been much worse. My brother in law just retired from Honda and from a lot of stories and testimonials that I've heard from him over the years, Honda is producing some safe quality vehicles. Anyway... thankfully your son is alright.

Picked up a new 2024 Honda CRV EX this weekend.

When your kid borrows your CRV to work 7 hours up north to save on gas for a few months. But then falls asleep at the wheel at 4:45am going to wok and going 60 mph. He could've been going faster since he fell asleep and mashed the gas pedal. 60mph was the last speed he saw he was doing. Hits and snaps a telephone pole in a ditch. Then hits a embankment in the ditch and flips your CRV end over end. You can see point of impact was the upper rear hatch. Then the drivers door opens on first roll and then rolls over on the drivers side with the drivers door open. See how the drivers door is folded in half. And then rolls back onto the roof and slides into a 2nd telephone pole.

He walked away with some cuts and bruises and sprained wrist.

So why wouldn't you buy another CRV after that.

Wow! So glad to hear he walked away from that!

I do see that the main cabin area is still intact and not crushed in. Thank God for that! Honda does produce some of the safest cars and it shows right here!

We have 2 Honda CRV's in our family. My daughter drives a 2007 with just over 300,000 miles on it and my wife drives a 2011 with 178,000 miles. Both have been extremely dependable with minor repairs and are driven everyday.

Your new CRV looks nice and I'm sure will you give you many years of service!

With Rlaarlo having recently released their new AK-787, including two dual-motor versions, and me wanting to "do my own thing", I decided to order the chassis, top brace, & dual motor kit...and, will be converting my AK-917 to a dual-motor config.

For those not familiar with the AK-917, or the new AK-787, these are 1/10 scale cars designed for speedrunning. The AK-787 is the first 1/10 RC bashing/speedrun car to be dual-motor capable straight from the factory.

Pre Order from June 23rd at amain finally got here. Gonna leave it boxed up for the moment as we are close to winter and I have the FXR already and getting ready to do the upgrades to it.
This is the Pro Circuit Green model.

Second round of 'handling' upgrades for the Arrma Vendetta speedrun car:

machined aluminum C-hubs, steering arms, and rear uprights, as well as adjustable SS steering & camber links.

Parts from Amain arrived. Fusion and SSD knuckles for the new Phoenix.

Also received my order from Twisted Tree RC. Bought an antenna for the new Phoenix build and the mini Bronco. Love the bonus scale banner![emoji1303]

I've noticed a lot of people going for the SE, as opposed to the Pro. The Pro has far greater programming options, so I can only assume it's the super-low price of the SE that's leading people to it (admittedly, it is an outstanding price).

I do have the Fusion Pro 2300kv in a couple rigs and love them. But at about half the cost for the Fusion SE and the slow crawlability is nearly the same, that's the reason why I buy them.:) Yeah, the price and performance is hard to beat!

Kyosho just released a new Mini-Z MR-03 RTR, having the Mazda 787B body, as well as just the body. Although I haven't confirmed it yet (ie. haven't opened the box, to compare it against my other MR-03 cars), Kyosho claims it has some slightly different parts, including a newly-designed ESC, with another acceleration & steering. Picked up the RTR, as well as the separate body.

I didn't buy a set, but if anyone looks to purchase a set of CP43 axles, you can get $25 off from Key City Hobbies.
