My video card on this puter took a shit on me about 5 yrs ago. Gigabyte 6870.
Found a decent replacement on Fleabay for 28.00. I paid 500 for this card when new. lol
Been using a simple cheap business class vid card and its NICE to have good video again.
No longer worried about getting the right hook or left cross from the old lady.
She makes a fair bit of bread all year, and she getting a bit buff mixing and kneading all that dough. lol This should take care of that.
Then Evilzon had the 1.9 Treal rims available for sub 30.00 on a special so I grabbed a set and a set of SS 324mm links for a coming build.

My present to myself this year (I'm a cranky, crotchety, ol' bachelor) was a Zotac RTX 3070Ti that I scooped up at a nice and low (but still pretty ridiculous) price...
It was sorta B-Day/Xmas as I got it about a month ago.
It's installed and is providing a noticeable bump in quality currently, but my system is somewhat CPU-limited, so over the next year I'll be building a new gaming rig around it.

not really the latest purchase. Bought this in November 2021. Finally showed up last week.
Now I can finally finish my No Prep Rigs. lol Except now I am going to convert one into a drifter or at least try it out on the LCG Traxxes platform and if it turns out well, I may convert my other 2. lol
At any rate, if it works well, this body will likely end up being a Drift Body instead of a Drag body. heh
