Papabash's Team BWD 'Low-Pro' Wedge Build

Hey do the bent rod ends do you know if the pillow balls from revo rod ends work in them? Or which ones do? I got a guy that has a bunch of them but he doesn't have the pillow balls.

I think the Revo balls are longer from open end to open end. My favorite balls are the ones in the Traxxas #1942 sets, you have to buy a bunch (16 I think) of rod ends with them, but you can always use them later. The whole set is only about $6.50.

No, the stock Axial balls are fine, I just prefer the Traxxas balls. I just meant that the Revo balls are too "long" if that makes sense.

Hey David could you get a shot of it from the top with the body panels on and of your shock and link positions please?

Okay, here they are....... hopefully these show you what you're looking for.

How much did you cost to build this ?

I honestly don't know. I used a few parts I already had, and intentionally didn't keep track of what I spent. It is more fun for me if I don't know how much I have tied up in my rigs!
But part of what I love about the mini's is the fact that you can buy a used one that is fully comp-ready for around a couple hundred bucks or so if you watch the ads. Try to do that with a 2.2 or Scaler! That is why I have a "few" of them sitting in my shop.

looking good Dave, you get your new panels made. if not chop chop get a move on.
No, haven't got them made yet. I've been finishing up my scaler and started working on Caleb's Mini Wedge (converting it to the LCC front end). Broke one of the front adapters tonight , so it looks like he'll be driving my backup rig Saturday.
I definitely need to get busy and get the new panels made, though!
