Official Chesapeake, VA beach, Suffolk Trail Run Thread

I am going to be around Richmond on Sunday; thinking about doing a bit of scale run fun at Belle Isle. I can't offer rides this time, but everyone is welcome to join me. I was up there this past Sunday (not with the RC though) and the water is down and the rocks are begging for some scale tires!

I had an 05 nismo 4x4 and sold it to buy the G. One day ill learn and actually keep a vehicle longer then 2 years :banghead:

I put the Sidewinder 3 in the Exo with a 4600 castle 4pole motor. Its nasty on 3s. Im down to running somewhere this weekend.

Plugged two brand new HEYOK controllers into the winches along with a new RX, front winch worked fine but the rear glitched. To the point where the ESC and Servo glitched as well. Switched it out for a 3racing winch and all works well.

What a pain caused by one faulty winch. Anybody want one just for looks? :x

that motor is nasty in itself, I can mine in a DF03-RA and it wasn't hard to take flight on tarmac from sheer speed.


I'm going reassemble everything in the AM and i'll be down to run for a couple hours. Anybody down for the Hellclimb? I'm determined to run that thing again before they tear it down
 
I went to boneyard this evening. Its changed. They worked it with some heavy equipment. I think it would be sweet to set up a course on some of the new terrain.

This pic is of the hill that we set up the course on before. Its just a long slope. The tallest hill where the cresses were is gone.
