Official Chesapeake, VA beach, Suffolk Trail Run Thread

You can get to it from Richmond road right?

sent from my wife's real husband that's battery powered and sometimes stays in her top draw.

ummmmm, you're asking the wrong guy... its off exit 238 on 64, take frontage road north to airport road, turn right, its on left. Thats what I see on google maps.

If I get my Jeep done then I will go. Parts should be here tomorrow to finish the transmission rebuild.....hopefully.

Well my dingo is in the mail but won't be here in time. Nike is about 45 mins where the other is over an hours drive. Might just take the slash out for now.

I think I got the tire issue straight. I had to glue all of the tires to the bead locks. I also got extra batteries for a few hours of running.

Good deal.

Extra batteries aren't a bad idea here, as we discovered last time there is A LOT of trail to cover. That said, I know that the beginning and end of the one half of trail are best, the middle isn't really worth the walk. We should try starting out going the other direction this time though, just to see what is that way.

I'll be bringing OX to play in the muddy area...based on the rain we've got the past few days it should be a riot!

It should take me about a hour to get there from where I live in Chesapeake. I am looking forward to it.

So looks like my kit will be here tomorrow. Should have it all together and ready to go by Sunday as long as I can get some electronics

Bow chicka wow wow

Everything you say is dirty :ror:

Couple of maybes, but it sounds like we should have a nice sized group this weekend. Cool. If anyone has any 1.9 beadlock wheels they are looking to sell, specifically Axials, I'm in the market. "thumbsup"

So, what is nike park like? Is it anything like the south end of ipswitch? Im not a basher by anymeans, so any info would be grrrrrrrreat! Ive looked at pictures posted, and it appears to be all open trails, and mud and water, is that true? Anyone run on the north end of ipswitch? Ran it yesterday, gonna hit it on my way home from work for an hour or two today as i need to fully cycle some batts, some decnt technical areas not to far apart, pretty nice...

Oh yea we hit that place a lot. Nike has some good variaty in it. Hill climbs some real technical root spots and a huge rock garden. We all broke before we got there.lol. its nice. Escpecially with this big group.
