Official Chesapeake, VA beach, Suffolk Trail Run Thread

I have been there also, it is a good area. You might also check out Carrollton Nike Park, there are some mountain bike trails that are decent for trail running with lots of spots to get off the trail and run in water or mud or whathaveyou. We had a group meet out there back in March, Click here for a link to the pics and below are links to two vids that daddyduck put together from that run. Post #1 of this thread has the address for the park, third meet from the bottom I believe

I am certainly interested in heading up that way again sometime real soon, any days work better than others for you?

was looking at the terrain maps, Waller mill park in williamsburg looks like it has some good evalation changes and says there lots of hiking trails, may try and check it out this weekend. Just havent found a map of the park yet, they ussually show hiking difficulty on them...

theres a trail that runs out north from near the discovery center, might check it out this week sometime and see if its worth beinging the trucks and runnin there, i tried to upload the park map, it runs acorss deer run creek and up to some swamp.

four words: York river state park... Looks awesome. Halfway between here and Richmond. has some difficult trails, Im kinda a technical driver. Anybody in for a Sunday road trip? never been there before so it could be really sweet, or utterly disastrous...

Please post up some pics of the area. VARCOR is always on the lookout for new places to comp.
