New to Rc trucks and the CC01

So I got the Dremel and drill out, did a bit of binding resolution. Spaced the upper control arm and ground out a little bit off the inside of the lower control arm. It all resulted in about 2-3mm extra travel/height.

The left hand side is the result of the work.

Just spaced it it with 3mm washer/spacer between ball joint and body.

I'm confused...Where did you place this washer? Picture?

As for the whole truck, I love what you did! It looks awesome and with all that travel it does not look like you have a CC-01 chassis....

I cheated even more and just flipped one of the three gears to inbetween the other two. I've had no issues, but the front diff is not exactly balanced that way.

You can remove slope in the GPM steering by filing the linkage bushings shorter to where they just rotate back and forth with no up and down deflection. Also, The locking spider gears fit in the front diff better if you notch out the gear teeth at the back of the spider, get rid of the round flange that goes from tooth to tooth. It will nestle down better into the other spider gears and allow you to screw the diff together with less difficulty and let the diff gear rotate freely in the front gearbox.

Yeah it works well. However now the turning circle is twice as big, so thinking of maybe unlocking the front to keep the better handling.

It's really not worth it man, when just one of my front CVDs broke the truck was useless on anything except flattish ground. These rigs lift the front corners pretty often so you need all the front traction you can get.
