New to Rc trucks and the CC01

Since lifting rear and GPM upgrades for front the car wonders (cant hold a straight line, oversteers). Even with steering upgrade. Is this normal??

GPM steering kit I'm guessing? I never ran it, but is there play in the steering linkage itself, or are the front wheels just a bit floppy? You probably just have to tighten the linkages that connect the knuckles to the steering assembly. Or does the GPM kit replace those linkages too?

No the linkages are not replaced. Yeah GPM steering kit. Wheels I are a little bit floppy but no more than before.

Are you still using the dogbones on the front? Either way, if the front suspension if spaced out you will need to put an o-ring in the drive cups coming off the front diff. Mine wobbles a little, but a bit of steering trim adjustment keeps it straight.

When I spaced my front end out, I used pen springs cut down to get the dogbones in place

I meant the actual drive dogbone, not the upper control arm/link. I'm just trying to trace this wobbly-ness, but I'm running out of ideas. Maybe throw up some pics and we'll see if something looks amiss?

Yeah I've replaced the drive dog bone cv's with some yeah racing ones and replaced bearings. Will post something when I get home and get a chance. Thanks

I might throw up a vid tonight of me wobbling all the parts on my rig just to see if what you're getting is kind of standard or something fixable. Also a tip for you to save time and annoyance, get some heat skrink tubing and put it over the center of the CVDs so the pins never come out. I lost a pin on my yeah racing CVDs in about 2 minutes, but I put a spare in there and heatshrinked both CVDs and they've been going strong for nearly 10 full charges.

Just did a test after tightening everything up and thread locking. A little wobble, but just the ball ends, so happy with that. Also tested the bigger tyres, so much better! Engine did start to get pretty hot after 15 mins tho and reversing seems slower then before. Also have me a chance to test my make shift drop shackles.
Overall very happy with the new suspension, steering and tyres. Now to space the front end, cut the block off and lock the diffs!

I did some exploring and found that it was the cv fouling stopping it from going any higher. Will have to modify.

Then the next problem I think will be the cv houseing-cup for the ball end. It looks like it may foul on the upper control arm.
