I got this rig in a giveaway on a small YT channel (link and details can be found in the album details), much thanks Paul ... much appreciated (y)

I'd like to either to replace the mamba micro esc or just get the 2-1 Fusion Pro instead. If just the esc is replaced, then what would be a good replacement for the Mamba micro x and keeping the Slate 2850 motor? Also hoping to grab a HH servo in the near future.

Also need a couple of other servos for the dig and over-drive. Been trying to find a pdf on the vfd twin but no joy as of yet.

Performs really good but needs a full strip down and everything cleaned, etc. Can't make my mind up whether to replace the body ... or repair and keep as is. Anyways, thought it was about time to show this.

Is something wrong with the ESC? Castle has a Mamba X and Copperhead 10. The Mamba X is a good ESC. It has been around for a while. The Copperhead is newer. Tekin has the RX4, but its a big boy and unless they have upgraded their software in the past several years, it was not as user friendly as the Castle. Fusion Pros are good, but you will not have the wheel speed that the 2850 Slate has.

For a VFD Twin, you could find those diagrams the Vanquish Phoenix manuals.

Seems to be working just fine but does have a melted power switch. No reason other than wanting something a little bit newer is all. Thanks for the heads-up for the manuals (y)
