I am wondering if anybody has taking a new bright 9.6 volt battery and modified it for a transmitter battery. I found a old one and it is the exact size as the 8aa battery tray on my traxxas transmitter.I'm a newb to all this just got started back in nov 2011. My skills aren't that good.Yet.:roll:

will it fit inside the tray? i havent had a TQ radio in years,i dont think the tray is removable though.
if it will fit,you can get a male and female JST plugs from your LHS, or online, solder male to the battery pack, and the other to the wires from the stock battery tray. you'll have to crack the radio open to get to the wires on the battery tray.

you will need a charge adapter to charge the pack.

most of those battery packs a low MAH rated, it wont last very long
