Does anyone else think that the 'spy pic' is actually their ad campaign for this new rig seeing how the 'flying shipping container' was a major flop? The more I look at the spy pic the more it seems like it was a staged picture, not something shot on the sly. The pic is too centered in the frame, the lighting is just right, it's a clear, focused image... not that it matters anymore, I'm just thinking out loud.

The second pic is definitely a pic from them I would say. I don't think it's their campaign but I doubt it was an accident. Especially when it has the associated company logos on the pic. I don't think they are trying to fool anyone, just not ready to release the news on the specs.

Looking back at the first pic, looks like a non-beadlock. You can see the right rear and I don't see any hardware.

I see that. But if you look at the driver front wheel inside the spokes it looks like a seem. Kinda like a 3 piece wheel with a insert to lock both beads.

I studied both pics very carefully and I have come to the conclusion that.....I have to wait for more info to be released.

It is a real rig and was on display at the K.O.H. event last month.
It's now avaliable for pre-orders eveywhere and is to be released in May.
I would like to see more tech info before I pre-order but I really dout they will get it to market that soon with so little info availble 60-90 days away.

Hmmmm, Something tells me that alll of you going to this years MSD event will hopefully see this truck as the Spec class truck. I hope!

Something else also tells me that those of you who dont go to this years MSD event may be missing out on the biggest release Axial has ever done yet."thumbsup"

Lets see, Release date expected Mid May! MSD Nationals Mid May!

ya it looks kool and all but like many people i wont get to excited till we see some real life specs on it

i like the look.:ror: i will probably end up with one. but i will wait till more is out about it and then all the speculation will be put to rest.

now they just need to let some info out

Question here. I looked at the site. Are they still making and selling wheels, etc ? Everything shows 0 that I looked at.

Awesome little vid!

I can see this rig having a more mass market appeal than any other rig they have released before. It gives the scale appeal like short course has to so many people. The plastic cage will most likely be very flexible and therefore not prone to breaking, I see almost Wheely King bashability out of it. I think this could very well be the type of market they were trying to grab onto. That is where the real money really is IMO.

Agreed.
