New Associated Enduro Crawler - Free-Mods & Upgrades

That utility bed looks good but I'm not seeing it free anywhere lol.

Anyway I could possibly use this for a project, would someone mind measuring the width and height of the Sendero Cab?

This cage should be a touch narrower and maybe an inch shorter.

Lol’s... all good.
Ya, everything that’s worthwhile. "thumbsup"

Ive been slacking...bought a new car and then my back went out. Barely walking for two weeks, can’t bend over to pick up a truck.

Bummer! Went out from driving the car?

Chris you just need a scale crane to hoist it up from the ground to waist level. Rc4wd should have something like that lol

In all seriousness I wish you well. I hurt my back just as bad a couple years ago. But I know the "more wise" you get, the slower recovery can be. Take it easy.
Whats this new car? Worthy of posting in the 1:1 section?

OKAY now on to this new bed for the enduro...
SOZE... How do you feel about this? Its not really a truggy cage or a utility flat bed but sort of a mixture of both?
I actually think yours looks better, but this looks easier to install. I might actually bite.
I was having trouble deciding between the RTR body, or slapping the proline 79 cab on with ascender cage.
This utility bed may have swayed me. The RTR body stays... For a while anyway.

Neat find! And also very nice the team at AE is still giving us neat stuff! Well not "giving" but you know what I mean.
HOLY SMOKES only $35?! DONE!

Thanks guys - some eight back and neck injuries over forty years, chronic arthritis and neuropathy is my realm. But this one is different, tweaked ligaments and muscles from something I did two weeks ago. Usually a good sleep and some stretching I'm good, but not this time. Slowly improving, at least the piercing pain has subsided and I can walk again. Went to ER last week and they said Tylenol and icy-hot, and lay down for a few days - so I went back to work!
Having RC truck withdrawals. LOL
Oh, and the car is killer - a new Challenger R/T. 375hp. 8)
No, it's not a Hellcat. LOL - I'm 62, not 32! And I'm being forced to sell my last motorcycle.

For a truggy - anybody check with SWM? They have some really nice stuff for Axial - should work on this Element.

SWM? and yes I literally had the axial honcho cage in my cart at RPP, but this one from AE dropped before I pulled the trigger.

Challengers look bitchin! I kinda wanted a charger but they dont make em in manual (seems they are going extinct) so I gave up and got my f150.
Yes lots of rest and the best painkillers you can get without addiction. Easy does it!

yeah for the coupe. The sedan never got crash tested with a manual so they cant sell them.

Bout to order this new cage right meow!

Well... I bought the Enduro Kit too, but just haven't really mentioned it or started on it. Just bought the utility bed and an Enduro Body set yesterday which I'll use on the kit.

Back troubles suck. I got rear-ended a few years ago, and I saw it coming in the rear-view mirror, because I heard the tire screeching behind me. Instead of keeping limber, I braced myself for impact between the steering wheel and my seat. Big mistake... messed my back up and it's still not fully pain free 100% of the time.

Same thing here. Got rear-ended 10 years ago. Guy hit me going about 45 to 50 mph. My low back and my neck have never been the same since. Back problems do suck! Hang in there Chris. Get well soon!

Very cool 😎

Hello all, been in and out of R/C's over the years. I have three trail trucks now.
I put a lift on my Enduro as I though it sat a bit low visually. I put about a 1/2" lift on and with playing with shock angles I have found very good articulation in the rear.
Massive compression & massive droop (or it seems pretty good to me). There is more travel to be had than with the shock itself. Gotta get a good angle now at the front...
You can see how far back I mounted the front bumper & 45'd the edges.
Cheers
