Team NARCCA is back in action bringing you the the finest rocks this side of the Mississippi ; expect a great event in a great location (worthy of 2013 USRCCA Nationals ! ) cool temperatures, and great amenities. "thumbsup" we have learned a lot in the past year and hope to roll all of the best features of all the premier competitions into one. This is a part of the USRCCA Qualifier series. The rock is endless at this location and we will be doing our best to insure new comp sites with never before seen terrain, with some amazing scenery, balanced with easy access, expect to not comp by the rocks near the campground. expect temperatures about 20 degrees cooler than last year.

Campsite Info:

We have reserved 9-13 for tech inspections, the event organizers, G6, and the sponsors. Camp sites for competitors will be available through the City of Prescott for $15 per night per spot, Spots 3-8 and 14-18 are available as of now . Call Michelle at 928-777-1121 to set up reservations; let her know you are coming for the shootout! "thumbsup" I will update what sites are available once in a while but its best to call and ask them what is available still.

You DO NOT reserve sites through me, the sites that I have are for the event organizers and the sponsors only. (competitors and the city were confused on this at first."thumbsup")

the Best Western Prescottonian ( as of 1/1/2014 is $99 for 1 king per night or $129 for 2 queens per night

Payment Info:I've had a couple people unsure; there are no qualifiers or points necessary to enter, you just pay and show up.

Without judges events don't happen, you will receive free entry/t-shirt and as much compensation as the event can handle;(may be $5 may be $50 gift cards or otherwise) NARCCA will be throwing down a fancy prize for judges only, and we will be asking the sponsors to do the same. Our main issue last year was this limited amount of judges and the amount of judges that signed up and didn't show, so I will be asking for a judges deposit this year refunded at the time of arrival at the comp.

Sweet! Looks like this will be the only national event I will be able to make in 2014. Thanks for hosting this again. I can't wait!

Just got of the phone with best western prescottonian ; seems as it it a busy time of year as I was expecting to get a group rate down to around 60 a night but it is double that for 2 queens per night. I will be exploring different options tomorrow; but for those on a budget it would be a good idea to take advantage of the great weather and camp at $15 a night . Hope everyone has a great holiday!

Also a big shout out to RCP Crawlers; at the AZ Summer shootouts , at Nats, at West coast, at RCX you are stepping up to the plate like no one else to bring the rc crawler world to the masses without forgetting about the little things, so happy to have you back as a sponsor!

Blame Canada ! Blame Canada ! ; for awesome custom skins and scale accessories. So Glad to have Krawler Konceptz back as a sponsor! All of the vendors willing to step up and sponsor without me even asking  proves that this sport is still alive and we have some amazing people backing us. "thumbsup"

Congrats to Joel Demir from CA on the RCbros Penelope raffle , You have won a full ticket package to the shootout! hope to see you there.

The eventbrite page is live for those who have not bought tickets https://www.eventbrite.com/e/2014-az-summer-shootout-usrcca-qualifiers-tickets-4966952288

If you are going to camp it would be a good idea to book now as it is a really busy time of year , it will be far cheaper to camp !

Picking up the artwork/logo design for the shirts/brochures/scorecards/trophies/thread tonight, they are going to be so awesome!

Without Ottsix we would be still using rovers and the now discontinued boss claws. Responsible for single handedly breathing new life into the comp crawler scene, assuring us that this is only the beginning. Matt really cares about the sport and does all he can to push it forward, from the contingency he offers his drivers to the post season build off, and back to this. A round of applause please for Ottsix!
