I got to get a super ready for the Arizona Summer Shootout and North East National Championships next month so it’s time to get to work. I’ve had these parts sitting in a box for about a month now

Parts list is basically the full Dlux kit car with some small changes
I also did the Dlux knuckle weights and wheels to go with it

Electronics are going to be 45t brood conflux motors, futaba a700 servos, Holmes br minis, castle bec’s, and futaba radio gear

oooh a competitor lol. I will be at NENC with my losi super. You probably don't have much or any R&D needed to be done, so you got some time to put it together. Nice wheels btw. I hope to see you on the rocks! subbed.

I’m moving to San Diego in a couple weeks so the goal is to have it done by then. Hopefully I get to drive it before I leave to the summer shootout June 6th

That chassis looks awesome!!

Yeah it’s pretty cool. Not too heavy either. It kinda reminds me of my old super tuber

Just what Nabil needs!

You know it. I’ve been itching to build another super, but had to get my 2.2 driving back to where I wanted it first

You knew it was coming. My next comp build is going to have to be one of your shaftys

Doesn't count unless you build it the night before at the hotel

Might still happen...

So I had some stuff come up and I’m just getting back to working on it now. Got the knuckle weights all assembled and I’m currently putting the wheels together

Made some tires yesterday. Narrowed truggy hb blocks and full width jconcepts ruptures. Still undecided what I’m going to run. I ordered longer standoffs for the wheels. The current ones are 25mm I ordered 30 and 35mm standoffs. I will do some experimenting and figure out what I prefer. Foams will be crawler innovations of course. I have a few options so I’m still undecided

Ruptures for NENC. I was told lugs, so that's sorta what I went with.

Currently I think the ruptures are going to get mounted. I’m a bit worried with the compound and temperature in az. I think I will probably end up ordering another set of wheels and just mounting both

I’m back in San Diego now. Still have a lot of unpacking to do but I managed to get the tires and wheels glued up before I left. Tires come in at 8.25 inches tall and are filled with crawler innovations foams.

Which way do you set the rear caster angle? I liked 10-15* towards the front of the car to help push the rear around and just in case you gotta drive it backwards.

Probably going to end up right around zero degrees to start. I’ve tried both ways in the past but I don’t really remember what I liked and didn’t like about each setup
