Losi Baja Rey 1/10th 4WD RTR desert truck

Or just make the channel larger on the 7075 and have a brass insert you could drop in. If you wanted to tune the weight of the trailing arms, not sure it's really going to make much of a difference but a small advantage is still an advantage I guess.

more or less fine tuning the rear axle lift up on turns to turn "less" cause once one wheel lifts up, the trucks turn on dimes!

I could definitely drop a sec or two if I wasn't drifting every corner to compensate for oversteer. its hard to see in the videos but in the back far right corner where the s turns are.. my truck is slideways :ror:

I literally just told myself to hold off on the SSD third member for a few days... glad I did. Might just get this whole axle depending on the price.

Thanks for the share!
Well thats Vp get ready to spend about $$$ lol. Im not knocking them I have plenty other parts but that ish ain't cheap

Maybe it will be an incision part and not be outrageous. I hope SSD has a full axle planned.

I'm going off of what was said on that Facebook video caption "We will be in production next week with a release of an amazing price for this size axle!".

At the same time their "amazing price" could be an "ouch" price for me... :lmao:

Just wait till you hear what size bearings there using! Its huge.

Sucks I ordered the SSD yesterday but I'll run it till I can get my hands on the vp housing.

According to a VP guy on the losi facebook page it is 14mm bearings inside and out. I'm not gonna be doing a lot of go fast stuff, more trailing and crawling. It's gonna be over 100 dollars and that's a but too much for me. SSD may be the best solution for me at least. Plus plastic will slide better than aluminum will on rocks. But for racers and bashers this VP axle may be the ticket. I'll be interested to see if either SSD or VP come up with a front diff case solution.

Who knows, maybe I'll change my mind once it is release and the price is known.

Hmm, I heard dual 5x16x5.
