Losi 1/10th Roller

What is the smallest and largest pinion you can run?
Im still tryin to figure out the motor I want to run. I would like to run an outrunner BL setup but I am having a helluva time finding one with a high enough kv/v rating to match a 21.5.
I am hoping HH can get his hands on one of these and figure out a good outrunner/pinion combo.

Smallest is a 12 tooth, and the largest is a 28 tooth . You can really get where you need with all those gears. I've tried going up and down a few teeth and noticed a little difference in speed and torque.

So I might be able to run a 1400kv/v outrunner with a 25-28 pinion and get pretty close to what you guys are running.
Cool thanks for the info!

Man I held this thing in my own hands at RCX and didn't even know it. The axles are BEAUTIFUL, I wish I would have snapped some pics for you guys.

Yea, I did too.
I was to busy BS'n with Jake to think about snappin pics. Did get Jake to demo the front dig and how useful it really is. Was really impressed with how it works. I am so used to the R2D sliding back while engaging and disengaging, didnt see any of that with this rig tho. I really think this is the next evolution of crawlers.
Cant wait to get hands on mine!
Is it May Yet????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to all the Losi drivers for posting up the set up of their rigs "thumbsup". This sure helps with countless hours and $$$ on set up. I am sure when mine finaly arrives, I will very pleased with the performance.

That is a big huge DITTO... "thumbsup""thumbsup""thumbsup"

A dumb question:
After all, the screws are metric or SAE? I've red the topic, but not sure about this.

As already answered...yes they are SAE and yes I know what your thinking...why? This was a decision I made early on in the project and just missed it. In hindsight, Metric would have been better, but it's to late to make the change now.
Thanks for your interest,
Rich
